Went to Dr. Ruff last week and had an eye exam done. He agreed with me that I needed a stronger prescription. Picked up my new lenses today from his assistant patty. They both have awalys provided me with the best of service for many years.. Marietta is most fortunate to have them as a eye care provider.

Have been taking my 6 year old here since he has started wearing glasses a little over a year ago and they have been giving a very high script over 9.50 they tried to up it again after a couple months to over 10+ the only reason they didn't get by with it is cause insurance denied it because it hadn't been a year. I took him to another eye doctor because he's been having a lot of issues in school with cutting things with scissors above or below what he's supposed to and can barley see the dotted lines on the paper. Come to find out these people have been over prescribing my child. My other child they have him at a higher script as well just not very much than what it's supposed to be he's only 4 and sometimes he don't look through the glasses he looks above and they still have way to high of a script

I went there in March for an eye exam with Dr. Ruff- great guy. It's a shame that five months later my glasses still aren't right. I complained about them the day I got my new lenses, and was told it takes time to adjust to them and to give it time. I have waited months and now I find out they put the wrong prescription lenses in my frames. They said the lab "forgot" part of the prescription. I went back- only to get the same exact lenses. Then I was told "no those are the right lenses now". Then I just got a text and they are saying my "new lenses are in". I never requested a third pair of lenses. It's a shame I paid almost $350.00 just for lenses (not frames) and they are trash. Don't purchase glasses from them.

I can't say enough! Very thorough exam professional staff. All questions answered. Very good at "frontloading" me on what was going to happen and what each test was about. Dr. Ruff is extremely caring and gave possible futuristic issues that may occur. Very insightful. Came highly recommended and I'm glad I chose him

Updated review: The management team reached out to me to find out more about what was going on and are now making it right. There must have been a manufacturing defect or something that led to the lens issues I have. While I will say the service received in store was not the greatest, I am sure it will be addressed and was a one off rather than the norm. Also I put a lot of emphasis on how a situation is handled overall/after an initial bad experience, not just the first impression. The fact that management reached out to me personally to have a discussion and to see if anything could be done speaks volumes to the bigger picture and how they intend to operate as a company. Bravo for doing that!

If I could give zero stars that would be my choice. Been a customer for years never had issues, always paid my fees on time and up front. Lately they constantly overcharge for my fees,which I constantly have to correct..then sent me a bill for which I politely explained I was having my insurance take a second look before I just handed them money for a fee that should have been covered...but to which I agreed to pay if I were responsible. manager got an attitude treating me as though I wasn't a loyal customer that has ALWAYS been on time with payments..proceeded to see my husband for his exam took his money for contact fitting then refused to let him order his contacts because they listed the bill that I was having insurance look at as a "family" owed bill even though it was services rendered to me...not him. This place has become a joke. Only reason I valued thier service was for the excellent ladies who help you with contacts. They lost a whole family. Found better service elsewhere who was happy to take care of my husbands contact needs.

One of the best experiences I have ever had in my 61 years on this planet. They have some of the most friendly and knowledgeable staff I have ever encountered. Very clean and inviting atmosphere, up to date equipment and great prices. I would and will from now on recommend this office to anyone and everyone I meet from now on. I wish I could give more than five stars

My husband payed 600.00 for glasses we went in to pick them up. We were there before anyone else. A young man came in after use and the young lady came straight out to the young man and waited on him and left us setting there was in no hurry to help us at all so we left. I would not recommended this place at all.
