Have been seeing Dr. Kessinger for 3-4 years and recently had cataract surgery. I always appreciate her expertise and welcoming demeanor. Appointments are never rushed, all of my questions answered, and the staff is friendly and punctual. Very family-oriented business that provides great care. I highly recommend Dr. Kessinger!

I took my prescription from my doctor to Midwest Eye Consultants in Maumee, Ohio to choose my new frame and order my prescription glasses. When the glasses came in, I picked them up and went on my way. My prescription is mainly to help me see better driving at night. After trying them for a week, something just wasn't right... I returned to Midwest Eye Consultants, and that's when I started working with Alison. She is very nice and very knowledgeable. The lenses were checked, and they were made to the prescription from my doctor, but they just weren't right. It was decided that we get my eyes checked again, right there at Midwest Eye Consultants office. So Alison made me an appointment with Dr. Bzdafka. I got my eyes rechecked, and a new prescription was ordered. I received my new glasses a week after that, and the results we're excellent! I can now see very good driving at night. Thank you, Alison!...... A+++

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Had an appointment today and first they asked me if I wanted to be fit for contacts then after everything they throw in "oh yeah did they tell you at the front desk that you have to pay for that no insurances cover it" they did not tell me and I would've said no because I didn't need to be fitted I've had contacts before and used the same brand with no issues. The actual doctor never even came in, and the lady who was checking me diagnosed me with something and never said anything about it just said "and you have this" and never even mentioned it after that. Very unprofessional in my opinion and money hungry like the other reviews said. Wouldn't return.

I had an appt for 2:10pm for an eye exam. I waited until 2:40pm and walked up to the counter. I was greeted by an old overweight woman with white hair. I calmly informed her I have been waiting for 30 minutes and I had an appointment. She said "okay" and looked at me right in my eyes as if she was saying whats your point. I turned around and walked out. They just missed out on money from an exam and two pairs of glasses for myself and then one pair for each family member of mine plus an exam for each also. What a horribly run company. Run away fast. THIS PLACE WILL WASTE YOUR TIME. TRUST THE REVIEWS. HORRIBLE

The staff is very welcoming, haven't been in a few years and the Doc actually remembers me. Mica was exceptional helping with picking new glasses, she was very patient and if you had any questions she had an answer. I felt very comfortable and would recommend this place to anyone.
