Ashley was great. She was super friendly and very nice. She didn't rush me like some places do and even helped me pick out a pair of glasses and I appreciate it . They should make her employee of the year and give her $1000 bonus and a raise, and they should be lucky to have her. Oh ya great place for glasses.

Ashley was very helpful and kind throughout the whole process. I was really indecisive about choosing a frame, but she was patient and took the time to help me find one that looked great. I started going to Americas best back when I lived in Columbus and always had a good experience. Since moving to cle area I have gone to this location golden gate twice and the first time they were unprofessional but it was fine and I got what I needed. This time I came for an eye exam thinking it would be covered as I had asked the person on the phone who scheduled me if I had already been in this year because I couldn't remember and she checked my records and said no. I said okay and I knew they had my insurance on file since the last time I went there. When I went in for my appointment the girl asks if I'm using insurance and I say yes, and then that was it. At the end of my appointment after waiting around for almost 20 minutes while the staff took their sweet time and laughed and joked amongst themselves the lady starts to get my order together and then she tells me they don't take my insurance because it's the Cleveland clinic version of eye med (even though all over they say that they take eye med, and I didn't know there was a difference). I was so upset because they tell me my eye exam wasn't covered at its $119 dollars out of pocket. I would have never done here if I knew I'd have to pay that, and I just feel like the person who scheduled me could have know this and the person who checked me in could have checked my insurance as well. But they don't care, they wait until the end because money is money to them even if it's deceitful and upsetting to the patient. The girls were nice enough but the man working there was so rude and mean. Horrible experience and obviously never coming back. I didn't even get to order my contacts I was so upset.

From the exam to picking out my glasses, everything was smooth and professional. Everyone was welcoming and made me feel comfortable! Definitely coming back! And especially thanks to Ashley for helping me pick out my glasses! She rocks!

Rude staff and doctor. They sit around and don't ask if you need help. When you ask a question, they seem like they don't want to be bothered. Doctor walks past and doesn't speak, not personable at all. It's a convenient location with convenient pricing, but poor customer service.

Decided to give them a try- and now we're loyal customers! They have a great selection- even for wide faces! I can finally stop wearing men's glasses! Ashley was also super kind and helpful. I recommend America's Best to everyone!

Mario is absolute one of the most knowledgeable ppl. Every single time me and my husband come he takes care of us. I appreciate that he stayed yesterday 12-27-25 to help us complete our order. He deserves Major recognition just with that alone. He will always be the best in my eyes. Thanks Mario.
