Great Lakes Eyecare

After searching for a new local eye doctor I came across Great Lakes Eyecare that had excellent reviews and also great rates/copays with my insurance. I had a wonderful experience today meeting all of the staff and Dr. Jenna Bayer for an eye exam. They were all very thorough and kind. I felt very at home and at ease being I was nervous that I had not been to an optometrist for 5 years since my last exam. Dr. Bayer will be highly recommended to all of my friends and coworkers. She was extremely knowledgeable and down to earth. Then Tara helped me pick out my frames and lenses and even took the time to help me figure out how to make the most of my insurance benefits. I look forward to seeing clearly once I have my new glasses! Thank you to all of the staff for a lovely visit today!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bozic's for over 10 years. I have always felt heard for my concerns and valued as a person and patient. However, today was my first time having the need to purchase glasses in just as much time as I have been a patient as my Lasik needs a touch up for distance and I need readers due to the nature of aging. In comes Tara. Tara was a Rockstar of support for me and my appreciation for this practice multiplied. I explained how it had been so long for me since I had glasses and I was pretty nervous about accepting them back into my life. Tara helped me get started with getting me comfortable with putting them back on, finding the right color for my skin tone and hair color, along with the right frame for my face. She gave me open and honest feedback which I wholeheartedly appreciated and wanted. When it came down to two frames that I was left undecided on, she reminded me of a very important element to consider: the weight. Her last piece of advice zeroed me in on what was once a terrifying decision into one of - I can't believe I'm saying - "I can't wait to get those bad boys". To make it even easier, Tara explained what all my insurance kicks in, any additional add-ons and any out-of-pocket expenses were. The picking out the frames were seriously the hardest part...but she made it so much easier for me.

I've been a patient here forever. I love that the staff is always willing to give their honest opinion when choosing frames. Shannon has always had a talent to suggest the best frame from the first one off the board. The first one she picks is usually the one that ends up fitting the best and looking best. And unlike a doctors office, they are very quick to get you back to pre-testing and get the exam started. I recommend them to family & friends all the time. Keep up the great work!

Michael did the eye Testing for myself and both my kids. He was fantastic!! Especially with my daughter who has been diagnosed with chronic anxiety. Tara was extremely patient with me while picking out my new eyeglass frames and putting in orders for frames to be shipped in. She also assisted my children with the choosing of their new frames. Love Great Lakes Eyecare!! Dr. Bozic is so knowledgeable and caring and always fully addresses all of our concerns. Shannon, who helps us with our glasses is a treasure. She has gone way out of her way to help us with insurance issues we have encountered. The whole group at Great Lakes Eyecare deserve 5 stars!!

I believe I finally found a doctor that genuinely cares. Takes time to explain what is going on with my eye sight and talks to me straight forward. Her staff very pleasant, attentive and efficient.

1st visit, Great environment, very nice and was greeted with a smile from Tara. She was very helpfully with everything. Definitely be back. Thank you :-)
