Went in so I didn't have to wear contacts anymore. First surgery was talked into one eye distance one up close by the nurse the day of my surgery . Was terrible and had double vision in both eyes , or what they called shadowing. Had surgery on the up close eye again so they were both the same. Still double vision in both and hard to see. Then had a 3rd surgery on both eyes , and again still have the shadowing and had to be put back in contacts ( by my previous eye dr.) . I had PRK surgery . Similar to Lasik surgery. Have not and will not go back. The Dr made it sound like it was something I DID!!!!

Very nice people. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The surgeon did laser on me the same day!!!

I had cataract surgeries on both my left and right eye a week apart back in June. I highly recommend Bloomberg Eye Center and Dr. Shahinfar, who did a great job. The procedures were quick (about 10 minutes per eye for the actual surgery) and painless. My eyesight improved dramatically after these two surgeries.

I hate to say this but for anyone thinking about lasik I would not recommend doing it here maybe im just an exception but I had one a few yrs ago and was verbally promised they could get it as good as wearing glasses or contacts especially if I did one and another touch up so I decided to get that package and ended up doing it twice like they recommended and from my understanding if one didn't get it as good as they could the 2cd would be guaranteed to and I was never even close to seeing as good as good as I could with glasses and im wearing glasses daily again and even have a vision restriction on my license a yr or so after my 2cd lasik I even went in and told them about it and they tried to make me pay up front to be seen I refused to and basically said I will see a doctor without paying because of the promise they made so they did give in and let me see him I told him I couldn't pass my driver's test without glasses so he did a vision test which I know I didn't pass but he winked at me and signed papers saying I could drive without glasses so if you've made it this far I would absolutely not take there word cause I know for a fact they will lie in your face if it means they can suck thousands of dollars out of you

When calling to schedule my appointment, the staff was very nice and helpful. When I arrived, the check in process was very quick and the front desk employee was nice. Everything ran like a well oiled machine. Andrea was kind, patient and professional, yet friendly. She interacted with other patients, remembering their names, their previously problems and was very genuine when asking how they were feeling. The doctor was thorough, personable and informative. He took his time to explain things different ways to really help me understand the procedure and what to expect. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The girl who went over the procedure scheduling was great! She was understanding, kind and funny. She reassured me things could be moved around if needed. Bloomberg is an amazing place, not only for what they do, but for the staff you interact with!!

I enjoyed my experience at Bloomberg Newark. All were very nice and Doctor was thorough and explained all he was thinking. Would highly recommend! Thank you Bloomberg staff and Dr.!

From start to finish I was treated so professional. I was nervous and honestly a lot of the questions I had they already were able to answer without me even asking! Their customer service and how I was treated was amazing. I loved the comfort of knowing what was coming next or if there were any issues who I could speak to. I would (and already have) recomend this service to my family and friends! They even have thought out the best way the littlw downtime plays into your daily routine so they work around your schedule. They even let you pick your own music to listen to during the procedure! The facilities were extremely clean and the staff were all so friendly and approachable!

Dr. Blausey and the entire team are wonderful! So patient and helpful. Aaron is amazing as well! I reviewed earlier and mistyped Aaron as another name. Such a professional healthcare facility!
