Was not pleased with the checkout. When I arrived, I was given a coupon that stated I would receive 50% off if I order 1 year worth of contacts. The person that checked me out had me pay for the office visit. I reminded her that I need to order contacts. She placed the order. After I left I realized I did not receive the 50% office. I contacted the office and spoke to the same person that checked me out and she said that I wasn't eligible for this that I need to order glasses also even though the coupon did not say that. Didn't feel like I received good customer service. Very pleased with the Eye doctor exam.

Clarkson Eyecare prompted me to review them on Goggle so here it is. We enjoyed this office for years, but since it was sold to a chain, service has declined. The call center is unhelpful, appointments are overbooked causing long waits, and there's only one optometrist pushing her to her limits. Staff seem distracted gossiping behind the curtain or arguing about what they should be doing. We stayed with this practice for our visit history, but it's no longer worth the hassle.

Had to rate a 1 but would of been a zero.After many trips to be fitted for contacts earlier this year,establishment was unable to get it right;had to send 2 pairs back and the office basically swept me under the rug with no resolve but kept my money and refused to reimburse me(130$) ! I did get a glasses prescription and recently (tuesday 10/14/2025) decided I would reengage and try and use my insurance allotment for the year ,which is 225 for lenses put into a frame i already had .outrageously overpriced.I was quoted a additional cost of 285 $ for lenses after exhausting my benefit of 225$,really over 510$ just for lenses? Not to mention if I didn't have a frame ,that would of been a additional 200 plus for a frame,so add in tax and fees ,almost 800$for a pair of glasses?out of their minds!Americas best was able to accommodate me within my 225 $ benefit....how is that possible,only explanation to me is clarkson is a rip off!

When I picked up my glasses in February 2025, I knew they were wrong. I tried to get someone to actually check them, but I was told that I might have to get used to them. I rarely use them, since it causes some pain. The feel like they pull my eyes out of line. They really are the worst I've ever had. I will not come back because no one listened to me.
For the price I believe I deserved better. Now I have to wait until 2026 before I can see an eye doctor.

Great place and wonderful care. Great experience. I had the nicest person give me a price on what I wanted and she was very helpful picking out frames as well. I never felt like she was selling add ons. I've been going there for over 25 years and never felt pressured in any way. Glad to say it's only one miles from my house so hopefully I'll enjoy their service for many years.
