I had the same experience as Darby Colian. Shortest eye exam I've ever had, and was very obviously under-corrected with my new prescription. First red flag was when he said his lensometer read my current lens prescription completely wrong (he said they were -2.75 in both lens when they were a -3.25 OS and a -3.5 OD). Updated prescription from him was *miraculously* -3.0 in both eyes, when I've been at least a -3.25 OS and -3.5 OD for years. Never have I had a prescription get weaker like that. I knew something was wrong and was proven right when my new contacts came in and no surprise, ridiculously blurry. I will not be going back because it's obvious the doctor's machinery is defunct and I don't trust him to get an accurate reading of my prescription at this point.

I went here because I was hoping to have a Dr that took the time to help figure out a better prescription for my eyes. I tend to have a difficult prescription and Drs always seem a little baffled with my eyesight. I explained this to him, he took maybe 5 mins with me and said "I've got you all figured out". In fact he did not. Walking out with my trial pair of contacts it was very blurry. I told the asst this and he said to give them a week. I drove home with blurry vision and a couple days later called again. I was told to give them more time. Several days later I called back and they gave me another appt with the Dr. He did not examine my eyes, he just tweaked my prescription. I tried those trial contacts again and although they were better it was still not even as good as my original prescription from 2-3 yrs prior. When I called back I was told that the Dr said "that's the best I'm going to get". Then I asked for my original prescription so I could just order those contacts as by this time I was out. I had asked them twice and 1800 CONTACTS also reached out more than once. When I called several weeks later asking for my prescription again bc no one followed thru on those multiple requests, they put me on hold and acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I'll find a new Dr and office staff that care and don't always seem so rushed and bothered by patient requests.

Dr McBriar is the BEST and his staff, Dan and Kim, are wonderful! My children and I received excellent care. Everyone was so kind, patient, and helpful. We can't wait for our new affordable and stylish glasses. We will definitely be coming back for future checkups and will recommend them to everyone!

The staff and Dr were great! It definitely gets busy in there when the Dr is there, but the staff does a great job of taking care of everyone! They were great w/my daughter!!

Dr. McBriar has been my optometrist for many years. He is very well rounded in different medical conditions that could cause potential health problems or eye problems. I trust him and his staff so much! Excellent patient care with the doctor and his team!

So I made my appointment and I asked them if they took my insurance they said yes they did take my insurance and never did they tell me that they were out of network so after the doctor gave me my exam and I sat with the lady she informed me that they were out of network so my insurance instead of paying $178 for frames they would only paid $78 when I explained that I called and asked if they were in my network the lady who made my appointment said yes and assured me that my contact fitting was covered because of my insurance again they lied would I recommend this place? hell no !!!make sure you ask a lot of questions or you're going to get ripped off
