Walmart Vision & Glasses

I've been in love with the same frame for over 8yrs. It finally broke. Pamela was able to find the frame originally bought at Walmart and went above and beyond to keep me in the price range and style I wanted. We tried new styles however, they just weren't cutting it for me I am more than happy she took the time to try new styles and colors with me & have an honest opinion through it all. We narrowed it down to about 3 and I still chose my old frame. Thank goodness she was able to get that for me. The process was explained step by step for everything needed due to it being the first time I bought on my own. The patience and kindness she showed was more than appreciated. See you again when it's time!

Absolutely terrible experience this time around. Paid out of pocket for two frames for my daughter. The rx the dr prescribed ( her private dr) was no good. She had reduced it and my daughter saw blurry with double vision when looking at lights. Was told she had to give them time to get used to then. Well I called her eye dr and had the rx adjusted. Bc they will replace the lens within 30 days if there's an issue. (There isn't getting used to a rx when things are blurry and double vision and the dr agreed with me). Next day I had her dr from akron childrens send the correct rx over via fax. I called walmart and spoke to Pam to ask for their fax number and was told "is there a problem ".?? Should have known that was the beginning of b.s..... There was some problem faxing the rx on the drs end so I called the walmart vision center to confirm they recieved the fax and was told by Courtney, "they couldn't fax it so they are emailing it and I can call you when I get the email". 2 hrs later, no call.. so I call them and she said " you'll get a text message when the order is processed. I let another couple of hours go by then call back, just to make sure they recieved the rx. I said listen just tell me did you recieve the email or not and she said yes. Next morning now the day after and, still no text with a confirmation of a new lens order so I call walmart and Pam picks up the phone and asks me if i ever recieved a text with the confirmation . And I'm like hello, no I didn't or I wouldn't be calling you. She proceeds to treat me like I am 2 years old and tells.me to check my phone again bc they rarely miss.people. she then tells.me I called 3 times yesterday afternoon (like theres a limit) and quote "it's getting to the point where I am interrupting business and she's with a patient. " I said well what do you think my daughter is, she's a patient too!!! Just tell me you got the rx whats the issue . Im like flabbergasted that she was trying to fight with me on the phone. She barely let me get a word in edgewise. And i heard her say "oh my God" ! To someone about me, as she hung up with me. The only reason I called back was bc of their lack of communication to confirm they received the new rx and that the order was processed. I had to take the complaint up to upper store management and was told the order is being worked on. I dont even want to call back up there but i said i would if i didnt hear anything in a week. And what do you know, i still dont have a text proving the lenses were ordered. Absolutely no excuse to talk to a customer that way. I am never going here again. Can't be bothered, rude unprofessional attitudes. Simply disgusting

I already had an Rx from my eye doctor. I didn't like the frames they offered. Went to Walmart, they had cute frames. It was a hassle for worker to get my insurance information, never had this issue with my insurance card before. I finally had to leave. I was told one price then it changed triple increase. The service was rude, I couldn't understand what the worker was saying to me. When you wear a mask you must speak up! It was just too much of a hassle, even when I called the person had an attitude. I have decent insurance, Walmart isn't the only place to get frames and lenses! Don't waste your time here!

Would rate zero if I could. Very unfortunate that they have people operating out the establishment who lie about calling and receiving faxes just to avoid doing their job. I explained my wanting to have lens put into my own frames and they said It was ok up until I show up and they change their story. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience. They treat you with such discontent and condescend to you if as if you're a toddler.

Need to work on professionalism to customers. Walmart review the employees!! Extremley lacking it.

Ordered my glasses paid a hefty price called 4 times within the ten day span I go in just leaving after purchasing my groceries and the women I spoke to said if you call one more time I apologized said my glasses I have r being held together by super glue I'm just excited to get them she proceeded to say ITS OUR JOB TO CALL YOU! gave me attitude went to the back to see if they were in and had someone else bring them out because oh lo and behold they were in and no one called ! Worst ever service I will stick with Streetsboro before I ever go back !

I will never again take my kids to get glasses here. The customer service is absolutely horrible. They are rude and just don't care. Pamela is the worst of them all. There is a younger girl that was working check in and ugh her attitude is absurd. I will say the lady that checks your glasses after our experience Friday was decent.

Courtney, was very helpful with my eye wear experience, and I will definitely go back in the future. The staff are pleasant and courteous and I highly recommended this vision center.
