First time seeing an optometrist. Everything from the initial exam to the optometrist was great. Thank you. But, then they release you to the desk for your prescription. Reading glasses I most likely won't use. I made it clear that I only wanted what insurance would cover or nothing. Next I have a $120 bill. Because she gave me certain frames. So again I said no. And got attitude. Like going to a used car lot. For damn reading glasses. $20 copay, $44 for eye test. Fine. Then she tells me $20 for exam. ???? Insurance covers that that's why I pay a copay. Get home and the paper says it's for the frame I got. I made it very clear I really didn't want them and if they wanted to give them to me anyway I only wanted what insurance would pay for. But instead she tells me it's another $20 for an exam when it was actually $20 for the frame. Then $130 for the lenses. ??? Extremely unprofessional. Get home and gf tells me $10 I could get a pair at any pharmacy. That her eye doc told her that. This place didn't mention that to me. Ridiculous. Won't be going back. My kid had already been there but she won't be again. Ridiculous. So if anybody wants a $150 pair of reading glasses with a very light prescription they'll be done the 17th. Just say I sent you. I don't want them. Rather get a refund then go spend $10 at the drugstore when I actually want a pair. Update. They keep emailing me telling me the glasses are in and I respond to the link they send me for customer service and I tell them to just mail them to me. Five times it has been sent back as non-deliverable email.
