Excellent all around! Loved Dr. Steve. He was thoughtful, thorough and kind. He took his time and explained anything I had questions about. I wear glasses and contacts. If your insurance does not pay for contacts, the fitting exam costs $40. My insurance, thankfully, pays for cheap frames and I even got bifocals. Linda helped me out with that part of my appointment and she was so genuine, patient and kind. I highly recommend their services!

They won't even make an appointment unless you have your insurance information. What about people that don't have vision insurance and pay cash out of pocket they don't get appointments?

If you want to go somewhere that will treat you like family, then Walmart Eye Center in Salem is the best place to go! I purchased glasses in Jan. 2023, by September the temple piece had broken off twice, using super glue to keep them usable. I went to the Salem store and was helped by Kristin Mack. Fortunately, the warranty was still in place, but the frames had been discontinued. She was extremely helpful with the process of replacing them. Her customer service was wonderful.

After being told at my eye doctor and 2 others that I needed an appointment just to browse the selection of glasses for possible purchase (I already had an exam, I had a prescription in my hand) I decided to check out the Walmart selection. They had many frames. Then I was approached by Linda Burkey. An optician working there, and possibly the nicest and most helpful person I have ever met. She helped me with my insurance and with my selection of frames. I really can't say anything bad about her, she was wonderful so I recommend this place highly!! Pretty frames and very reasonably price!! Give them a try. You won't regret it. Again Linda Burkey is the best!!
