Julie the optician at Sandusky store is amazing.. she help me and my son pick out glasses. She is very friendly person. Very knowledgeable and helpful.. she is definitely a keeper at Sandusky store.. nicest person I have felt with at Svs vision.. I look forward to working with her again for glasses..

While playing tennis yesterday morning, I was hit in the side of my face by a well hit tennis ball. The ball struck the glasses I purchased from SVS Vision Optical late last year and knocked one of the lenses loose from the frame. I stopped in at SVS on my way home to see what could be done. Julie, the store manager who had overseen my purchase, recognized me right away. I showed her the injuries to my face and my glasses. She examined the damaged lense and told me she thought she could repair it right then and there. "Just give me a few minutes", was her response. I sat at her desk while she worked on the bench behind her workstation. A few minutes later, she was fitting my glasses to my face. I asked her what I owed and she brushed it off. She handed me a card and asked only that I tell my story here.

Julie was amazing Grace for me in SVS Sandusky ! I can see clearly now, very grateful for her with her expertise. Highly recommend SVS

I had an appointment yesterday at 4:30pm. I left work early to make it to my appointment 10 minutes early. It was 5:00pm, I had not been waited on. I asked the 'manager' how long the wait would be. She said I had three people ahead of me and it's just like a doctor's office. The doctor never knows how long each patient will be. She could not give me a time I would be waited on. So I'm curious, was I supposed to clear my whole evening schedule for an eye appointment? What if I had a morning appointment scheduled and had to get back to work at a certain time? Take a whole sick day for an eye appointment. Very very disappointed and won't be back! I also, don't recommend anyone to go back.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have so many different frames to choose from. It was nice to have that variety available locally. My frames were ready just a couple days after I ordered them which was wonderful. The price point was great, and I liked how they had the same options for lenses as my eye doctors. I would highly recommend stopping in to check out their selection.

This place is absolutely awful to deal with. Avoid it at all if you can. The last time I was there, they wanted me to pay almost $900 WITH insurance for a single pair of glasses. After I told them, I'm not paying that much, she eliminated all the add ons(that I didnt ask for) it was down to a somewhat reasonable cost. That was like 3, maybe 4, years ago and since then they call me at least once a month. Initially, I've asked to be removed from their call list numerous times but they apparently refuse to do so. Now it's just a robocall. I ignored it for a while and then finally just blocked the number but somehow they were still able to leave a voice mail. I'm done being nice, my next step is to file a police report.
