I had Lasik surgery on both eyes in July of 2014. I chose Dr Stark after talking with him about my concerns. I had been through the "dog and pony" show at the Dayton facility that advertises on tv and radio. It was a beautiful facility but I didn't feel comfortable with the answers that the doc gave me in person. In addition, it was very high pressure. They didn't want to leave without a date being set up. And then the calls started... I waited a few months and a friend in my Spinning class recommended Dr Stark. His wife performed my initial tests and was very informative. She explained to me one on one what was involved with the procedure. Dr Stark then came in and answered all of my questions. The procedure was easy, no pain, and they even gave me a CD of my surgery. I followed all of the directions and had no issues. It's been six months and I've had several post visits. My vision in my right eye was perfect the next day and my left eye has "zeroed in" during the past six months. It is wonderful not having to wear glasses, I feel like it's a whole new world. I would recommend Dr Stark and his Eye Institute to any friend or family. The staff is professional, the building is beautiful, and it's easily accessible from I-75. It was worth the drive from Dayton for me.

In 1998, Dr. Stark was honored as one of the top 100 refractive surgeons in the United States. This honor was bestowed upon him at the 1999 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meeting in Seattle, Washington.
