Shot out to Sidney Family Eye Care for a great experience!! Sarah did an amazing job picking out my glasses, Josie explained all testing and made me feel comfortable and Dr. Otte was very educational when doing his eye exam!! Thanks again definitely will be returning! The Doctor even shoveled a path to my car when leaving!!

Sidney Family Eye Care is amazing! The entire staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment you walk in. They take the time to answer questions, explain everything clearly, and make you feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. You can tell they truly care about their patients. Highly recommend!

Had my first visit last week and brought my two little boys this week for their first eye dr visit ever and I cannot say enough good things about this place! Dr Coleman and the staff were friendly, thorough, and simply amazing with my kiddos. Made for a wonderful first eye dr experience for them. Every staff member I encountered was kind and friendly, Will definitely continue to come here!!

They are marked as in network for our insurance , but expected a full exam payment instead of co-pay . (Deductible) I believe this is a high end money hungry company . Your in network for someone's insurance , they do not need to be told they have to pay almost $500 for glasses and exam . Sidney is not the right fit for them . Not enough rich people in this town . Avoid at all cost unless you don't live paycheck to paycheck !!

I will never recommend the Sidney office to anyone! They have became very snotty, and rude. Two different events have brought this review on. 1. My mother is an elderly patient, who trusted this practice to examine her eyes, and make her an affordable pair of glasses. She is on a very fixed income, and this office became very rude when she told them she needed glasses that was COMPLETELY COVERED BY HER INSURANCE. After much deliberation they finally showed her a "discontinued selection" of glasses. She was almost forced into the glasses she chose. They were sent to the lab to be made, and when they came in, they did not fit her face. She called and asked to exchange and she was RUDELY told that it was a discontinued frame and they wouldn't exchange. My husband and I had appointments scheduled, and I called and told them if they wouldn't exchange for my mother, than I was going to go elsewhere for an appointment. Finally after some bickering they decided to exchange my mother's glasses "as a one time favor!" When she went into exchange her glasses, we were told that all customers get 1 free exchange!" We had to fight about it. Mom finally did get her glasses, but it took me hours to get them to work with us. 2. Due to my husband's work schedule we can't always make appointments. I rescheduled both of our appointments 2 different times. Our appointment was moved to Good Friday, and my Mother had a medical emergency that needed to be tended too. I called to reschedule our appointments, and was told that they would not reschedule us again! I asked why and she told me we had rescheduled to many times. I then told her I would be contacting the office manager. I did just that, and she is the real reason I'm leaving this review. When I voiced my concerns to her, she rudely told me that she was sick of having to deal with a family who "forced them to do something!" When I told her just what I thought, she stated, "I thought you were a Christian!" Let me tell you that's fighting words! Yes I am a Christian, but I'm not a doormat! I told her I would be posting reviews and contacting Mercer eye care on the next business day, because I was not putting up with religious discrimination such as she threw! If you want a good exam, at a fair price, and treated with respect, this is NOT the place to book and appointment with! The veterinarian down the street would be a better choice for better patient care, than the his wanna be eye doctor! Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere! I can't wait to see this place be ran out of Sidney, as quick as possible! I'm definitely going to be starting a petition, to get this mess out of Sidney!

My family and I have been going to them for years and never have a had a bad experience! Staff is extremely attentive, kind, and efficient. The Dr's are not only knowledgeable but very personable. They take time to explain your diagnosis, treatment options, and the best suitable pair of contacts/glasses you will need. Will not be going anywhere else for my eye care!

I would recommend Sidney Family Eye Care. The staff is excellent they take the best care of you and your eyes.

I had a bit of an emergency, needed an eye exam badly and they got me in the same day. It was a 45 minute drive but we'll worth it! Wonderful staff and the doctor was very thorough!! I will make the trip for that kind of care!
