Wauseon Eye Care

I will be honest, as a physician- I absolutely hate being the patient. I find the whole process of checking in, waiting and being herded like cattle incredibly annoying. I do whatever I can to not have my patients experience that. Wauseon EyeCare got it right. They were efficient, friendly, competent and the whole visit surprisingly painless. I hope my office can do the same.

On July 25, 2025, my family and I were visiting the Wauseon, OH area for a local event. We were visiting from Michigan. Unfortunately, my father-in-law fell while we were at a local business. It was a pretty bad fall resulting in an ambulance ride to the ER. His face/head took the brunt of that fall damaging his glasses to the point we seriously questioned if they could be bent back into shape. The lenses were so filthy that I thought they were scratched badly. A quick Google search directed us to Wauseon Eye Care. When I walked in and explained the situation and presented the glasses, the individual at the front desk was so kind and offered to take a look at them to see what she could do. There was no guarantee that they were salvageable but she was going to give it a try. The first picture doesn't even come close to showing how bad the glasses really looked in person!! After a brief while, she came back out to present the glasses to me and they looked as good as new! I was shocked!! I wish I knew this individual's name as I can't thank her enough for her kindness and taking care of me on the spot. My father-in-law was super pleased to have his glasses back and to be able to wear them. Thank you so much

Very nice facility. Customer service is top notch from the front desk through the entire eye exam. Highly recommend!

My 5 year old has been complaining of her head spinning the wrong way (being dizzy) and her pediatrician did a test to see she's farsighted. My husband took her to wauseon eye care and had nothing but great things to say about how they were with her. So thankful they're good with littles. I go for myself as well and have always been treated kindly by all staff members.

Staff is amazing and the Drs are the best. Have had both Drs and this is the place to go for eye care

Dr. Fox performed a thorough eye exam very quickly compared to other Opthamalgists I have used in past years. Great job in short amount of time. One thing I would like to suggest is a broader selection of frames and styles.
