I have had major eye issues and very much connected to an ophthalmologist that did surgery several years ago. After a few moves and that doctor being over 2 hours away, I had to find a somewhat local doctor that I felt would be knowledgeable and understanding of my situation. Given my history, I was very picky when it came to eye doctors. A few people recommended Dr. Poling so I thought we'd give him a try. Very small office - fits the small town atmosphere! The office assistants have always been friendly and helpful. Now, Dr. Poling is a gem! He did tests on my eyes I hadn't remembered having done. He took all the time needed to be very thorough - and he was VERY thorough! Given my situation, he was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and worries. He got my approval for sure. He was great with my kids, again very thorough. My daughter has had glasses/contacts and we've had no problems at all. I have had a few instances of basic eye irritations, etc. Dr. Poling has always been very accommodating, generally getting me in that day. Again, always very thorough in diagnosing the issue and educating me on what is going on. I feel Dr. Poling is a great doctor and he truly cares about the patients!

I am very grateful to have Dr. Poling as my eye doctor. He is always prompt and efficient. I know he would be there in an emergency if I needed it, at any time of day. I have always been pleased with his eye exams, and his office staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

The best eye Doctor anywhere. Dr. Poling is very thorough and an expert in all the important things. I have been going here for over 33 years and would not think of going anywhere else. Great Staff. I feel safe and valued; not a number.

I am very grateful to have found Dr. Poling. I have a rare eye condition that I suspect I have had for a long time. I have gone to several different eye doctors over the years and it was never discovered until Dr. Poling. The reason he found it is that he did a more thorough exam then anyone else did. Meaning he did tests that I had never had before. Beyond that he did research to get to what the possible diagnoses were and clearly communicated my options for further testing. It was very important to me that he let me think my way through what I wanted to do and made the appropriate referral when I was ready to pursue that.

The staff was very friendly and Dr. Poling was very thorough. I left there feeling completely confident and am very happy with my glasses
