Trent Albright

Dr Trent Albright performed DSEK and Cataract surgery at the same time on my left eye. I made the mistake of switching surgeons as another cornea specialist performed the exact same surgery on my right eye four months prior. Because of this I am able to do a side by side comparison. The difference in trauma to my left eye vs my right eye and the post surgical eye pain were as extreme as they could be. I did not need any pain medication post surgery for my right eye surgery so when I was discharged after my left eye surgery with Dr Albright, I didn't feel the need to fill the prescription for pain meds on my way home. Of course, my eye was still numb when I left after the surgery but once that wore off I was in extreme pain and the visual trauma to my left eye was far worse as compared to the visual trauma following my right eye surgery. On top of that, my left eye has developed an epiretinal membrane which has affected my left eye vision. The left eye epiretinal membrane was a direct result from the traumatic surgery performed by Dr Albright. I will forever regret letting Dr Trent Albright perform my left eye surgery. He may have some good reviews but those can be very misleading as they do not specifically address his skills, or lack of, as an eye surgeon.
