Walmart Vision & Glasses

My experience has been bittersweet with the Liberty location. The employees across the board have been nothing but pleasant. From the doctor to the support staff they are all wonderful people! However, after almost 2 months I still do not have a working pair of contacts. In their defense, I decided to try multifocal contacts for the first time and had no expectation of my first trial pair to be perfect. This trial pair had to be reordered multiple times. I was told that their status was marked as "ready to ship" three times. This apparently prompted a reorder each time. After 6 weeks I finally received a trial pair. I wore them for 3 to 4 days as instructed, but they did not work for me. I called on a Friday to ask for an adjustment. I was told that the doctor is only in on Tuesday and to expect a call then with his new strategy. I waited until 4pm on Tuesday to ask for an update and I was told that "he's been busy all day because its the last day of the year. We'll give you a call when he's free". Funny thing is that they did not ask for my name or phone number. So unless they have caller ID they would not know who to call lol (I assume she was just trying to brush me off). I did not expect to receive said call, and to no surprise I did not get one. Now I assume that I have to wait ANOTHER week until he returns next Tuesday to make any progress. Given my experience so far, I assume that any new trials will also take 4 weeks to come in. This means that I will likely have over a 3 month wait from the time of my initial appointment. Price is great, people are great, but this is unacceptable.

I walked in for my appointment the two employees was assisting other customers so I sat down and waited till they was finished thinking I would be greeted.so the one employee was done first I asked her is there a sign in sheet because I sat for another five minutes waiting to at least be greeted she stated no you have to tell us your here like I was invisible or something than asked was I a walk in no I have a appointment and had I been greeted she would have figured that out she gives me the paperwork to fill out I had to ask her do I hold on to this for the Dr cause she never took the paperwork So after seeing the Doctor she was the one to finish out my purchase she was still rude. It was almost like she was trying to avoid assisting from the time I walked in

10-21-20 I'm currently here now and for the last 30 mins I've had to sit and listen to these two ladies chitchat. They haven't even taken my paperwork back yet . I see no concern for the patient's time. I will say they are pleasant and seem nice even though their conversation is more important than my time. If the actual appointment goes better I will update my review. For anyone else that reads reviews to decide whether to choose a place, I'm disappointed and would not recommend based on my experience thus far. Update: 10-24-20 While we didn't enjoy the doctor or the visit. I must say they called me to pick up our glasses today! Three days turnaround makes me very happy. If you are in need of glasses quickly, they do deliver. Again, the ladies that work there are also very pleasant.

I had a very good experience at this vision center. It was easy to get an appointment, doctors were very professional and the staff was very pleasant. They helped my son and I pick out glasses with many more choices than my other Wal-Mart vision center. The doctor even scheduled an emergency vision visit when my other son stretched his cornea. Everything was handled very well and timely. Thank you Wal-Mart vision center!

The woman I spoke with was extremely helpful with the information I needed, and was very kind.

Go somewhere else for glasses been there 5 times now 6 to have them readjust my glasses still hurt my ears I paid for them glasses .WHy do I get attitude like we in the hood not helpful whatsoever always in a rush when I go back BTW its Sean John glasses don't buy those they are not good . I even went to another Walmart same sh..

Love the layout of this store! Workers here are so much quicker then austintown. Did I mention everyone smiles even when my two year old is throwing an embarrassing tantrum.

Trust me, this is the worst place to go. The doctor comes once a week. It took 2 months to get my prescription
