Del City Vision Source

First, I want to say that Dr. Cherry and Dr. Blue are both wonderful doctors. I have been seeing Dr. Blue before he was even a part of Vision Source when he was located off of 15th and Howard. I do not have complaints about the physicians. The office staff is not great though. I scheduled appointments for my children with an understanding that I would owe $10 copays for their exams. The doctor performed the exam, and only after everything was done did the front desk inform us of an additional 'mandatory' $39 charge for some type of additional pictures that were taken. This charge was not discussed when I booked the appointment, nor was it mentioned when we checked in or during the examinations. It is unethical to complete a service and then surprise the patient with extra 'required' fees that they cannot opt out of. Patients deserve to know the full cost of their visit before they are seen. I tried to make a complaint prior to leaving the office but the front staff said that everyone I could speak with was with doctors. They promised to call me to speak about a refund. They never called. We paid $98 for 2 exams (with insurance) and left without ordering glasses. Our family will not be returning.

I have always made appointments at this location with ease. I would like to thank the assistant that helped me today. She explained everything to me before the test to put my mind at ease. I have even brought my family in to see Dr Hunter today. Everyone left very happy. Thank you so much!!

I have been going to Vision Source since 2020 and always had good experiences. Today my appt was at 4:00 pm and concern everyone would be in a hurry but that was not the case at all. The experience was exceptional. When I walked in I received the warmest greeting and pleasant conversation with the lady upfront. Dr Hunter is always professional, thorough, and caring. He walked in upbeat and talkative and did an excellent exam. I highly recommend Vision Source in Del City.

There has been four generations of my family being in Tom's care. He has always taken great care of us all. I have had the privilege to have been on a mission trip to Mexico with Tom. He had blessed so many lives in his life. So thankful that by God's grace I will be able to be with my brother for all eternity.

I'm posting for a family member. We were going to be significantly late due to an issue at his first appointment . I texted to reschedule and they said just get here when you can. SO, so nice! The appointment went well and everyone was so kind and caring! Would def recommend this practice !

Well, my visit was hit and miss. While the location itself is very nice visually appesling, I feel my customer experience was not great. I was charged my copay and then asked if I wanted to be tested for contacts. I agreed and nothing further was discussed. After the exam and fitting the contacts I was told my insurance didn't cover the contact exam and I owed them an additional $75. I responded no thank you. I was then fitted for my pupilary distance and I asked for my prescription for my glasses, which I had already paid for. The tech told me they wouldn't give me the prescription I paid for unless I paid for the contact exam at which point I removed the contacts from my eyes (the left was not the correct prescription) and began to explain how I didn't agree to pay anything for the exam as I was not told there was an additional amount due. At that point she provided my prescription I paid for and I left without considering any glasses or future services. A better informed staff would have improved my experience. Cost of services should be clearly stated at time of payment, not after and holding my prescription I had paid for hostage was shocking and unprofessional at best. Nice looking place though.

My doctor is always friendly and thorough. The staff is great also, they answered all my questions and took care of my needs A+.

The lady who took us back this morning was absolutely wonderful. She says she usually works at the Midwest City store. She was so friendly and nice. Everyone was wonderful. The doctor was very helpful in making me understand my questions I was asking
