Absolutely, hands down, the best place to go for your eye care in Grove!! Dr Barnwell is awesome - professional, obviously very skilled and excels at her profession! Eyecare of Grand Lake has state of the art technology that enables them to know exactly what's going on with your eyes and they're able to recommend a treatment plan accordingly. Not all optometrists in Grove have the technology Dr Barnwell has. And, finally, Dr Barnwell's staff is well trained and exceptionally caring. You will receive top notch care at Eyecare of Grand Lake and you will enjoy everyone who works there!

I went to Dr. Barnwell due to an issue with my previous optometrist and it is clear so far that I made the correct choice. Dr Barnwell was very willing to spend the time to explain my issue in a manner that was easy to understand and patiently took the time to insure I understood it. All of her staff were very respectful and efficient. Let's face it, quality glasses and lens are expensive, and that is the case here, but I am fairly confident after meeting with Misty that I am getting top quality and will be able to get service if needed when they arrive. Having said all of this they are getting a 5 star from me at this time.

Do not go to Eyecare of Grandlake. If you get glasses there, they will not work with you if you don't like the frames you get, you can't even exchange them(which is what I wanted to do), you have to buy new ones.
I got my exam there and picked out my frames, when I go to pick them up and tried them on i told them when I put them on wasn't fond of them, they told me to wear them over the weekend, it was probably because i wasn't use to them. So I wore them over the weekend and didn't like them, felt they were too big for my face. So I call them today 1-13-26 and told them. They tell me to come in, so I do, and all they did was tell me there isn't anything they can do, if I want new frames I'll have to buy them. I said so if a person buys frames here and they aren't satisfied with them they cant exchange them and she tells me no, why didn't they just tell me that over the phone instead of having me drive all the way here. So now I'm stuck with a pair of glasses I won't wear!

My husband and I moved here almost 2 years ago and we did not know where to go for our routine eye care. We had asked around and our eldest daughter went to Eye Care of Grandlake and she had wonderful experience. So with our yearly eye reviews approaching I thought why not. So so glad we made this decision. We ran a little behind schedule for our appointments. The staff was welcoming and very professional. Dr. Barnwell was awesome. My husband did trial contact lenses and when we got in vehicle he said I Love these contacts, I can see upclose and distance. He has mono vision ( never been told that before). He is absolutely over the moon . My experience picking out frames was also fun and the lovely lady that helped me even Dr. got in on it and was so stinking helpful. I really appreciate you all . Looking forward to a life long relationship for our families eye care.
