Very friendly and welcoming optometry clinic, from the front staff to each of the optometrists. My family and I have been going to this clinic since 2021 and always have a great experience each time. They are great with kids! Easy to book an appointment and they are always on time. Facility is very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this place!

i had an excellent experience here! all the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Alliston was very helpful in assessing and addressing my vision needs. as someone without insurance, i found the cost quite reasonable as well. i highly recommend fyidoctors!

Just had a sliver taken out of my eye - for the second time in one year! Both times by the great team at FYi doctors. It was extremely uncomfortable - I had no appointment but they squeezed me into their busy schedule and the relief is amazing! I was met by a very cheery and welcoming receptionist / technician. She even made me a tea while I waited! The doctor was equally welcoming and very good at what she does! Highly recommend

I had an absolutely incredible experience with FYIdoctors. Dr.Mary-Kate Alliston assisted me for my eye checkup she is great professional. Highly recommended. They even fixed my glasses which was required some adjustments. 5

It feels misleading when a store partners with insurance companies but then adds its own restrictive policies without being upfront. It's really disappointing and frustrating. I walked into the store and asked the employee who welcomed us whether the promotion could be applied along with my insurance benefits. She clearly said yes. I spent almost an hour choosing two frames I genuinely liked. At checkout, the same employee suddenly gave me a much higher total and brought someone else over to explain that promotions *cannot* be combined with insurance. When she insisted this was "for the good," I asked, "For who?" She replied, "You." Honestly--are you kidding me? This experience felt misleading, dismissive, and incredibly frustrating. I acknowledge that the employee might have misspoke initially. But the fact that no one apologized until I highlighted the misrepresentation of promotion and insurance details...

I've been going to this location since I was a kid and they are amazing. The staff are friendly and always make sure you're well taken care of. Special thanks to Amber, I'm very picky with my glasses adjustments but she is very patient and will help me until it's just right!

My wife and I have been coming here for 3 years. The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I've always been able to get appointments quickly. The store is very clean and modern, with lots tons of glasses to choose from. I have benefits from sunlife, and they are able to direct bill. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

My wife visited FYI Doctors at the Boardwalk area in Waterloo on Sept 10th for an eye exam and new glasses. From start to finish, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Dr. Mary-Kate Alliston and her staff and will definitely be back.
