We visited the clinic for my daughter. Dr Helena and Dr Lisa being so supportive towards the entire eye exam. My kid is 10 years and they examined her so patiently. The whole exam took almost 1 hour but they were so calm and caring throughout the exam. Special mention for Dr Helena, she is super gentle , nice and soft spoken made the eye exam extremely smooth. Thanks Waterloo school of optometry. You are blessed with a great staff.

My experience at this optometry clinic has been extremely frustrating. I've been waiting for my contact lenses for over a month because they forgot to order them. And then they reordered and they had had issues with their system. And now I have to wait another 3 weeks. It's disappointing that they don't take the initiative to check or follow up on orders. If I hadn't asked, I wouldn't have even known, and I would have been left waiting indefinitely because nobody cares to check on orders. Really disappointed.

I feel cheated out of $200 and six weeks worth of vision.
Over priced exams, wildly off base prescriptions (set by student, signed by doc but not CHECKED by doc), charged for a follow up exam.
Plus they literally told me it was safe to drive home after dilating my eyes... thankfully I didn't risk my life and others' and called for a ride. Took well over 24 hours for me to be able to see well enough to walk without assistance.
Now they want me to come back for a second follow up (and charge me a third time??!) no way.
