I went here because my glasses were in terribly bad shape. I had done a face plant while hiking, and the frames were bent. The welding had come apart and was held together with dental floss, the only thing I had in my pack. Chris, the magician that he is, did an amazing job of fixing my glasses that should work beautifully for the next two+ months of hiking north on the Pacific Crest Trail. I have been going to Progressive optometry for about 4 years now. Dr Dukes does thorough exams and I have always been happy with the prescription. They carry better quality frames than the bulk of frame shops. Veronica is patient and helpful and takes the time to correct fit issues such as when a frame needs anchoring or gets askew.

Nice folks, great service, good laughs. Hubby brought two of the same contact lens on a trip to Ashland, and the folks at Progressive were able to give him a sample pack to tide him over. Thank you!

With the help of Dr. Duke and staff my 5th grader is now reading at a whole grade level higher than just 6 months ago. While her eyesight was just fine, her ability to focus and track words when reading proved very difficult. Thanks to the evidence-based therapy she underwent, she has improved enormously. Without Dr. Duke's therapy she would have likely been labelled dyslexic or something along those lines when in fact she just needed the extra integration. We will forever be grateful for the help. Dr. Duke and Cheryl are wonderful, caring people doing exceptional work.

Unbelievable! Amazing people here. I lost a pair of glasses and my spare pair were really flimsy. Leaving for a trip in a few days, so it was kind of an emergency to get new ones. Same day appointment, eye exam and new frame/lenses in 65 minutes total. Special thanks to the front desk staff Chris and Veronica for understanding the urgency and for making it all happen! I came to Dr. Duke to address difficulty with double vision. He truly is "not your ordinary eye doctor!" He took the time to give a thorough exam and now i can see clearly close up (as in reading music) and far away as for driving. I fully recommend Dr. Dukes and his staff for personal service and professional competence.

I would give them a 0 star rating if it would let me! I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life, yes my entire life! My recent experience with Dr. Dukes has me literally shaking. I cannot fathom how one runs a a business like this but I have heard things from others about Dr. Dukes being a hot head! No need to go into detail about how you accused me over and over again of being a liar but let's not forget how you prescribed glasses to my child that doesn't actually need glasses and billed my insurance for them! 3 sessions of vision therapy at $200 a session, we'll see how those sessions stack up against a more reputable vision therapy center. Dr. Dukes is nicest Doctor I know. Not only has he been my entire families Eye Doctor for years. He actually took the time to come in on a holiday because my nine year daughter got a piece of pinata stuck in her eye. She was in a lot of pain and Dr. Dukes was wonderful with her (she had a corneal laceration).HIs gentle nature and calm demeanor put her at ease. His staff is fun, laid back and very knowledgeable . They have the best selection of frames in the valley. The Doctor's wife, Melissa, made picking out glasses fun. Talk about personalized service !!!
