McBride Optometrists

I've been coming here for over 10 years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dr. McBride is so kind and personable (my kids love him too!), and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. The level of customer service and integrity you find here is rare these days. Highly recommend!

I had a pretty frustrating experience at this clinic. The doctor was great and friendly, but the staff? Not so much. I felt dizzy after starting a new prescription and called to get help. The person on the phone told me to just get used to it, which didn't make any sense to me. She even hung up on me! After saying I don't think I want to get used to it . I had to call back and educate her how to be more professional. Plus, an older staff who deals with glasses made rude comments about my glasses breaking with a very bad attitude, which was none of her god.... business. My insurance covers everything, so I really don't get why she felt the need to say anything. Just wanted to share my experience; I hope they can learn to be a bit nicer and more professional. Don't let my low rating scare you off; I just hope they take this feedback to heart.

I have been to, I think, four total optometrists in my life. Honestly most have been perfectly competent. However, I can say for sure that I'm unlikely to find anyone better than Dr. McBride at what h e does. Competent is great, but truly caring makes a world of difference, and everyone hear clearly does care a lot.

Great doctors, who are thorough and educational. LOVE the staff at the front desk and who helped me get matched with the right frames. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I absolutely loved this place. Had my first eye exam in 20 years and every person I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to explain everything that she was doing and I couldn't be happier with the new glasses the staff helped me pick out. Thanks McBride, 10 of 10 would recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience, unlike any other. Dr. Sullivan was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She made the patient feel calm and at ease. We love how she explained every step of the process of the examination. The appointment was very educational. At different eye clinics owned by large corporations, the doctor was quick to send the patient on their way without listening to their concerns. My family was nervous this would be the situation this time but we're so impressed to establish care with an eye doctor that truly cares. Please make an appointment here, we got a diabetic eye exam and brand new glasses for a very fair price. So impressed with the doctor and business practice of this clinic.

I absolutely would recommend Dr. Charles McBride. I was new to the area and needed a good Optometrist. Dr. Charles McBride is very kind and very friendly. He made me feel like I had been a patient for years. Great selection of frames and a great looking remodeled office! The office staff and opticians were very friendly and made me feel like a life long patient. They helped me find a great stylish pair of glasses. It is a really fun experience and they worked seamlessly with my insurance.

First of all, I NEVER write reviews. Ever. But after having had one of the worst experiences at another eye clinic in Beaverton this last year, I was referred to Dr. McBride by a good friend who goes there. I honestly got to a place where I thought "well, there goes my eyesight, it was good while it lasted" but after my first visit to Dr. McBride he has completely restored my faith that there are still great Dr's out there who actually DO care about their patients. I can see now! It feels amazing. He and his office staff are all absolutely amazing people. I cannot recommend him enough. If you are looking for a new eye care provider I am certain you will love this place as much as I do!
