Murray Scholls Vision Center

Despite moving to another part of town, I continue coming back to this office. The front office staff is helpful and easy to work with, the technicians and optometrists are efficient and explain findings in understandable ways. They have a fabulous glasses selection, including incredibly lightweight and comfortable frames.

We felt compelled to write a review about Murray Scholls Vision Center because their service has been so exceptional. If you told us going to a vision center would be fun, we would look at you skeptically. But dealing with Sean, Felicia, Tonia and Dr. Elaine has been exceptionally fun. Sean's honesty and sense of humor has been refreshing and reassuring that we're getting the best service. Kudos to all!

I was looking for a new optometrist (the place I went to closed), and its can be hard to find that "perfect" clinic that blends a thorough, expert approach, with great staff, while also being clear and upfront on pricing (with affordable pricing). I was thrilled with my visit to Murray Scholls! It was one of the most thorough eye exams I've had, yet it still was time-friendly! Also, if you, or anyone in your family is nervous about going to the eye doctor...this is your place.The entire team is kind, warm and professional, and they work very hard to put you at ease. Also, its a very, very pleasant environment in terms of decor and clinic layout. That may sound silly, but if you're already stressed, a chaotic environment can make it worse. The Murray Scholl's clinic is warm, inviting and even peaceful/relaxing. This is a fantastic clinic with an amazing team. I am so glad I found them!

Went it for an eye checkup. Dr. Marybeth was very patient and answered all my questions. No rushing me thru. The optometrist team was very professional. They did not try to upsell and clearly explained all the options. Will definitely use them again for my yearly eye checkup.

Everyone took great care of me and quickly. My concern was a medical one and I was seen the same day and Dr. Tammy was thorough and laid out a care plan that reassured me I was in good hands. I will be returning to have my routine appointment and getting updated prescriptions. Thank you Brooke for your attention when I called. You made all this possible.

I really like the staff and quality of care as well as the tools available here. I only wish there would be more thorough explanations about cost along the way so we can make better choices on our contacts or lenses, but I do highly recommend this spot for your eye care.

3 months ago in May of 2020 I came to Murray Scholls Vision Center because they have a nice selection of frames. Worker Anna was very sweet but she was not very knowledgeable I ordered some Dolce Gabbana glasses and was excited about getting them. She said it would take about two weeks. After a month I hadn't heard from them and drop by. Turns out they had my glasses but never called. Then when I tried them on, they were not the correct prescription and she would have to return the glasses to the factory again for another two weeks. I waited for my glasses with excitement and was looking forward to having some clear lenses. They never called me so I stopped in again to find that they had my glasses after a month. When I dropped by, they were out to lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. so I waited for them to come back. After wearing the glasses for a day, I discovered that they were way too tight and giving me a headache. I called them immediately and told them that I would like an appointment to fix the glasses that I had bought. No response. When I had time a couple weeks later, I dropped by to have the glasses adjusted to fit my head, but she said I had to have an appointment. Also when I asked her why she didn't call me it turns out she had a very old phone number of mine that had been disconnected. I told her I had just bought the glasses and I just needed them fixed. She said okay and scheduled me for an appointment in a half an hour. Why she couldn't do it then was a mystery to me. I am now waiting for my appointment to get in and to fix my brand new glasses again. I will not be coming back to Murray Scholls Vision Center again. I have been very disappointed with their lack of service and expertise.

Friendly staff and excellent service. After a few years of care, the OD is usually running on time. Additional services and products are available but, unlike some optometry clinics, you don't feel like you're being up-sold unnecessarily every time you walk through the door. Their approach to selling glasses and other products is consultative and low pressure. I leave the clinic feeling like a cared for patient rather than a revenue opportunity. Highly recommend!
