Murrayhill Eye Care

I have been a client of Murrayhill Eye Care for many years. I am very, very happy with their service and regularly recommend them to friends and family. One of the things I really value is that the doctors explain what they are doing and what the tests are checking for. It seems like such a simple thing, but it really matters! Their staff is wonderful. I love their selection of frames and lenses.

Been going here since my first ever eye doctor changed insurance, probably at least 5 years ago. Dr. Wallace is awesome, really nice and personable. Even though I only see her a couple times a year she still remembers things about my life to ask about. She's also helpful with little things that make my life easier, like keeping both my eyes at the same prescription (because I wear daily lenses). She also e-mailed me the images of my eye that I requested. Speaking of, I am able to reorder contacts through them over the phone very easily, and they almost always come in in only a few days (and if they don't, they'll give you some sample lenses to get you through if you run out). My appointments are not particularly lengthy, but never seem lacking in comprehensive service. Even when I had an eye emergency and my regular doctor wasn't available they set me up with the doctor on call and I was able to get treatment. Plus, they're open on Saturdays, and partially into the evenings.. I have had nothing but good, solid and easy experiences with them, and I would recommend them.

Omg. I have been going to Murrayhill Eye Care for about 20 years and haven't left a review. Shame on me!!This practice is the very best. So good that I would fly up from CA to see them. Dr Luce saved one of my eyes that I thought I would lose. He carefully coordinated my care with an eye surgeon and today I can see so well. Needless to say I think they are terrific.

With broken glasses, I was feeling desperate for help so I searched google reviews for best optometrist in the area. Murray Hill Eye Care came out on top and the reviews weren't wrong. The eye exam was thorough, the doctor was personable, and the staff was helpful. After a couple of days at the computer, I'm elated with how little eye fatigue I have. I don't often leave reviews but they wowed me enough to elicit another 5star review.

I can't say enough good things about my eye doctor Rita Cook and all the staff that work there! She listens to all my concerns and always comes up with a perfect solution. I has my regular checkup and had mentioned my eye strain due to computer use and she gave me a prescription that works amazingly well. My computer glasses are awesome too. The eyeglass selection is awesome too. Thank you!

When we moved out to Oregon several years ago, I found this place around the corner from my house. At first they were decent, though they seemed to want to do more 'services' then I think I needed every year, especially when my prescription hasn't changed in over 20 years. The decision to leave them though was made when it became apparent that they weren't very accommodating to people with a pregnant wife. I had to miss an appointment because of a family emergency, and was forced to fly out of state the day before an appointment. About 4 months later, my wife had to be taken to the ER the day of an appointment. Both times I paid for a missed appointment, but upon getting my wife's situation resolved the next day and attempting to reschedule, I was told that due to missing two appointments in less then 6 months, that I would have to call in to make further appointments with them, and that even though I had gladly paid for both missed appointments that wasn't good enough. In short they expected me to call every day, to see if someone had cancelled. That is completely and utterly ridiculous.... In this day and age, you'd think that a company would at least be somewhat accommodating of an emergency, especially since they were still charging me for the two missed appointments, but it is their loss. My wife and I took our business elsewhere, found a better FAR more accommodating and understanding practice less then a half mile from their location, and have never looked back. It's been roughly about 2 years since we left, and our new doctor is a completely different story. Let me put it this way, I'd leave zero stars if Google reviews let me, because this company doesn't deserve one star.

While I lived in Beaverton, OR I used to go to Murrayhill Eye care for my eye check-ups and prescriptions. I was usually seen by Dr. Rita Cook. She was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough in her examinations. Now that I no longer live there, I truly miss such an excellent and accessible eye care facility. They truly care for the patients. Thank you!

I have been going here since I first needed glasses. The entire staff is amazing and the atmosphere is very comforting. Dr. Cook is who I always see and she always answers any questions I have and really does a great job. Also, Selena, the office manager, is very very helpful and always is going out of her way to make everyone's experience great.
