Visionworks Cedar Hills Crossing

This is a review of Visionworks as a company, not cedar hills crossing. Bought through Visionworks a pair of Lacoste glasses. 18months later the arm fell off. Definitely a defect in the product. Everything online says to warranty through purchaser. I called and was told they because I don't purchase extra protection the would not go through the warranty process. I dislike being required to purchase a protection plan when a warranty should be enough. For that reason alone I definitely will not be going to any Visionworks even though the staff and eye doctor I saw were polite and kind during my last eye exam. Be warned if you choose to purchase frames from Visionworks works.

Great location, they really take the time to make sure everything is perfect for you. The optometrist was a really sweet lady as were the associates at the desks in the front where the glasses are. However if you ever call to pay remotely and they say they'll call you back in 20 minutes, long story short they won't. Make sure you give them a call back yourself otherwise nothing will ever get done about it. Overall though 10/10 would recommend this location.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Visionworks! The staff was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive from start to finish. I truly appreciated how they took the time to discuss my options for the eye exam and allowed me to opt out of dilation for a quicker alternative--this made the process so much more convenient for me. Not only was the eye exam efficient, but their expertise didn't stop there. When it came time to choose new frames, they provided thoughtful and professional advice on what styles would best complement my round Eskimo face. They also took the time to go over the current deals they had available, helping me find the best value for my purchase. On top of that, they confirmed that my insurance was accepted, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It's rare to find a place that balances efficiency with such warm, personalized care. I highly recommend Visionworks to anyone looking for a seamless and professional eye care experience. Every staff member is polite, attentive, and happy to answer my questions. You can tell how dedicated every employee is from start to finish. Leanne, Dr. Nguyen, and Jess were fantastic at making my time at Visionworks smooth without undue wait or any pressure to hurry along.

Had not just a terrible experience with staff by the name of Chelsea, but a very bizarre one at that. Asked about their re-lensing policy as it had been quite a while, just over a year, since I had gotten my lenses. Waited about a solid 8 minutes while she looked everything up on my account. Was told that it wasn't possible as it had been a while. That's reasonable so I told her that was okay and understandable. Before I even got a chance to ask only my second question, she started rushing me while mentioning several things: how she still has to look up my insurance and it would take a while to do so (figured she had done that during the 8 minutes in the beginning of the call but no problem), how they have a bunch of promotions/plans but it would take too long to explain on call (even though I never asked her to), and how they have a constant flow of patients at the moment - all in a very passive aggressive and rushed manner. Mind you, I hadn't even asked my follow up question to the re-lensing yet. She is now rushing me and talking in a passive aggressive tone so I try to lighten the mood by laughing it off and mentioning that it seems there was a misunderstanding, that she didn't need to go through every deal with my right now, and that I was just wondering if I had to pay out of pocket. By this point I've already got a bad taste in my mouth as she was rushing me while being passive aggresive before I could even ask about paying out of pocket. She started getting even more passive aggressive and defensive after I asked her to cancel my appointment, citing my poor experience with her. This was when it got weird. I asked her what her name was and if she had said it was Caroline in the beginning of the call, to which she meekly replied yes. I then remembered it was a different name and when I asked her again, she then said her name was Chelsea. Finding the situation bizarre cause she'd be willing to lie to hide her name, I bluntly asked why she agreed earlier when asked if her name was Caroline. She says, "no I didn't". By that point I'm thoroughly weirded out so I end the call. Good thing iphones make it easy to record calls and Oregon's a one-party state.

Several issues with this place. They never called me to let me know my frames were ready, never called to let me know my contact lens trials were ready, and then gave me only my glasses prescription instead of my contact lens prescription after my contact lens fitting. Overpriced for both glasses and contacts. Save your money. I will not be returning.

Jessica was an amazing associate and handled my concern extremely well! I moved and she was able to pull up my information efficiently and handle a concern. I had with grace and empathy. I was in and out in no time.

Great customer service, very personable, knowledgeable, helpful in selecting glasses, large selection of different frames, Great experience. Would recommend to anyone needing an eye exam or looking for glasses or contacts!
