First impressions - 5 stars, highly recommend. My eye doctor recently retired, so picked Frost Eye Care based on online reviews. Very professional, personable, and provided a very thorough exam. Every issue was thoroughly explained, and I did not sense a hint of being rushed or troubled by questions. I really enjoyed my previous eye doctor, but Frost Eye Care was a very pleasant experience at a reasonable cost. I'm fortunate to find another great eye care provider and hope my review helps you in your search. I've never had such a comprehensive exam... each step, the what and why, clearly explained. Never had my Meibomian glands milked, easy treatment recommended for my slightly clogged glands (heated eye mask 3-4X/wk), fielded questions about supplements, recognized I had RK surgery (forgot to put down on my history - 1997) and explained some potential long-term issues (astigmatism), complemented my surgeon/post-op care, identified other issues and let me know what to expect and when to seek care beyond an annual exam. 25 years experience, modern equipment, thorough exam, and a nice, caring person. Bravo Zulu.

Fantastic availability, communicated well and confirmed appointment the day before. When we went in they greeted us with warmth and were very encouraging. They spent the time to be comprehensive with the exam and also attentively listened to our concerns regarding frames and durability. They were understanding about our budget and provided many suitable options for our situation. Extremely impressed with their style of personal care and professionalism. Costs were communicated up front and expectations addressed competently.

My wife and I were new to Corvallis and needed a number of new frames and lenses. From everyday wear to prescription bi-focal safety glasses, both clear and tinted. These people are highly professional as well as personable. A pleasure to work with and with remarkably reasonable prices. I feel very lucky to have found them. Most recently we had eye exams. Again, so great to work with. I've never had such a comprehensive exam... each step, the what and the why, clearly explained. So, of you're looking for more than just great frames (which they have) visit this place. It's how every business should be run.

My husband and I were extremely happy with the service at Frost Eye care. We both had exams and purchased glasses and contacts. The doctor changed my prescription and identified new issues I hadn't realized were affecting my vision. She gave me trial lens and follow-up appointments to ensure the change was correct. Service was thorough, friendly and helpful.

My appointment was at 4 and I was seen at 4!!! This is so rare any more! I received one of the most thorough eye exams and tests I've had in years. Dr Jones you are a breath of fresh air in the healthcare industry! Trevor Jones was exceptional in helping me getting my glasses set up, paperwork done and on my way. Great team and atmosphere.

Frost is the best! Dr. Lisa is smart, funny, caring and empathetic. She takes time to give a thorough exam, and I never feel rushed or that I'm one of many, on a conveyer belt. I can get a little nervous and she's great at helping me feel comfortable. Trevor is kind and he even adjusted an old pair of glasses for free for me. Great husband and wife team!

No insurance hassles, no hard sell on frames. Charming staff, great all around experience. I wasted too many years going to places that left me feeling preyed upon. That said, the experience here was so good that when the time comes for new frames this is where I'll go, if only to prove eye care providers can thrive without treating their patients as fruit to be squeezed for all of their juicy cash.

Dr. Jones was awesome! Very thorough and clear communication. Paying for my exam out of pocket I feel that it was a fantastic value. Trevor at the front desk was kind and helpful too. Highly recommend.
