Valley Eye Care

As a newcomer to the Corvallis area I was a bit nervous walking into a new eyecare team than what I was used to. I also have been having some vision problems with my eyes focusing, especially because as a byproduct of my work, I am required to spend extensive time looking at a computer screen. The staff couldn't be anymore kind and informative in addressing my concerns. I signed up for the membership which saved me a little money on the exam Right off the start. The exam itself was very comprehensive, which is something I hope to see when getting my eyes checked. They crossed the t's and dotted the eyes ;). The optometrist addressed the specific concerns I was having with my focus problem and helped me understand what was going on. I picked a pair of glasses that fit my style best and at a price that I could not complain about. The experience was one of the best I've had at any eye doctor I've ever been to. We retired to Corvallis several years ago and this was our third annual eye exam at Valley Eye Care. Dr. Tyler Rose is great at a detailed eye exam and explanation of eye health tests and results. They have a good selection of eyewear in a range of prices. I had the fortune of working with the optician Ella yesterday. She was very sweet and helpful with my frame selection and the technology to measure for progressive lenses. We have only had good experiences with this office so far.

Incredible experience at Valley Eye Care! The staff are friendly, the doctors know what they are doing, and they are very thorough. For the first time in five years, my correction seems like the right fit. After trying other eye care providers in the area when moving to Corvallis, this is the one where they actually know what they are doing, take time to work with you, and are friendly on top of all that! The waiting room could use some sprucing up, but I didn't have to spend much time there.

They always go the extra mile to help with any and all of my concerns. The doctors do a great job listening and advocating for my health. I always feel like I have received the best of care.

I like this place. Busy but not frantic. Staff calm, friendly and professional. Examine was more thorough and used more technology than I have previously experienced. No weird eye drops. Doctor Young was unhurried, taking time to answer questions and educate. Highly recommend this office.

My first visit to an eye doctor ever. Everyone was very professional and very kind. They walked me through every test and took the time to explain everything to me. I did not feel rushed or like I was just a number. I would recommend them to everyone!

Valley Eye Care is the best! The staff treats you like you matter and the testing is thorough. Dr Hale answers all my questions and they provide beautiful eyewear and are very helpful!

I was very impressed with the staff and Dr Rose. From checking in to walking out I really have never seen so many smiling faces or had such helpful people. The Staff was very helpful with explaining what they were doing and why and didn't appear to mind answering questions. Dr.Rose was an extremely thorough examiner and was very patient about explaining what he was doing and breathing down what he was seeing. At no point was I ever pressured to get glasses(I don't wear them now and don't have to) but I'm choosing to get some now to enjoy the puzzle and such that I do because because of the comfort and support I received at their office. Valley Eye Care was a great experience for me as a new patient to them and I would recommend them for others who may need an eye doctor.
