Advanced Eye Care

Dr. Jason Newman and the entire staff at Advanced Eye Care (Cottage Grove, OR) were amazing! I had an excellent experience when I went there for my eye shingles. Dr. Newman was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions that came up during this time, and eventually my eye recovered 100%. I always felt welcome there and would highly recommend Dr. Newman to anyone that has Eye Care needs.

The woman who works in the glasses section of this place is so kind. She helped me get my new glasses adjusted and did such a nice job. I can't thank her enough for her patience and kindness.

Absolutely fantastic service! I can't stand my eyes being messed with and the staff here were happy to accommodate! I got a seed husk stuck in my eye while riding my motorcycle and they were able to get me into an emergency appointment quickly and almost painlessly remove the object from me eye. I can't recommend them enough and my only regret is that I didn't get the kind doctor's name so I could thank him personally in this review.

Truly one of the most welcoming experience I have ever had! They were able to squeeze my son into a very busy day with no hesitation. I told them my concerns and knew it would be most likely a few days wait to get an appointment but they got me in within hours of calling! I had never been to an optometrist or even used my vision insurance so when I pulled out a stack of old insurance card they found just the one I needed and helped me discard the expired ones. The gal up front was training and she and her trainer were both such a joy, you could tell they really cared about their patients and each other. The drs assistant was so sweet and calming and made it a really fun experience for my 9 year old. The Dr. was so awesome he really really listened to my concerns. Cottage grove is a small town and it's so comforting knowing the people taking care of us live in the community and care about us as people, and they also really seem to care about each other! From start to finish it felt so warm and professional and genuine! I live in cottage grove but I would travel from eugene to see them again. Its 100% worth the short trip down here if you need eye care. *Plus the office it's self has a big selection of glasses to choose from and a super cozy,clean and modern! Love the Aesthetic!*

Being my first time ever going to Advanced EyeCare, I was actually quite impressed. This place has gone above my expectations in a tremendous way. Their staff, most importantly, were all so helpful and kind. Dr. Gotcher really seemed to know his stuff! Their Advanced technology really made the entire exam such a breeze compared to the way I was used to! Thank you so much for your time, effort, and welcoming me as a new patient. I couldn't have received better service. A young assistant prepped me for the eye doctor's examination by taking all my personal details, my previous history, putting drops in my eyes ready for the examination, carrying out some initial reading tests, etc. Dr. Gotcher then carried out his examination in a friendly manner. At the end of it all he said that the glasses I am using are fine. I told him that it must be the first time I have had my eyes examined and not had to make a decision about a purchase: no new prescription, no suggestion that I might update my frames, or that the lenses could do with being renewed. He said: that's not our modus operandi. We're not here to sell people what they don't need. All in all, very impressed. It's probably three years since I had my eyes examined and it took me over a year to arrange this one after moving to Cottage Grove. I highly recommend Dr. Gotcher.

First appointment with this group. Very professional and personable staff. My appointment was at the end of the day and I could tell the staff were tired yet they all had smiles and took their time to make sure everything was covered. Very happy to have such an excellent place to go to in my new home town.

This was my second visit. I almost didn't go back because of the care I received over a year ago. I am so glad I gave them a second chance. New doctors, and I believe even office help. It was a great visit very thorough. Enjoyed my time at the office
