Dr. Schmidt figured out an issue with my glasses prescription from a previous optometrist within the first few minutes of my appointment and was able to formulate a new prescription to fit my needs better. My eyes are much less strained now! I am so happy I have the right prescription especially because it is critical to my job that I have clear vision. Thank you Dr. Schmidt!

This is our first experience dealing with glasses for one of our kids. Dr. Schmidt did an excellent job with my 3 year old and he is loving his new glasses. His older brother is wondering when his glasses birthday will be lol. Her entire staff is wonderful and I am so happy we went with her practice!

This was the best experience I've ever had with an optometrist and their staff. I came to Dr. Schmidt after a year of bad experiences with my previous eye-care provider (wrong prescription, features added that I didn't request and feeling like I didn't matter.) She took the time to ask me about my current day to day, work and my history to obtain information that helped fix all the issues I had been having with my glasses up to that point. Dr. Schmidt is a thoughtful, kind and energetic person with a comfortingly casual manner that still has gravitas. Her staff are all considerate, good listeners, highly professional and welcoming. Highest possible recommendation. I can see again!

Dr Schmidt is amazing! This was my sons first official eye exam with an Optometrist. She educated him the entire way but explained it so he could understand and made it fun. I was so impressed with her care and concern with him. The staff was super friendly and the location very clean. Highly recommend this clinic.

Love Schmidt Eye Care! Everyone is so friendly and Dr. Schmidt always explains exactly what is being tested, what she sees, what it means, etc. They have a great selection of frames and never make me feel like a pain when I try on 20 different pair. :)

Dr. Schmidt spends a great deal of time with each patient. Now 68, I've worn glasses since the age of 5, and have seen many eye specialists over the years. She is the best. I recently took my 97 year-old father in to see her, and she very patiently explained to him that his 20 year old glass prescription had to be updated! He left happy and well cared for!

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Schmidt and her team!! Adore her! Just had my annual eye exam with her and realized I had not written her a review since 2013 when I first started seeing her. Yes! She's that awesome. I'm a millennial and I have committed to her as my eye doctor for almost a decade. I've seen her at two different offices; I followed her from the eye dispensary group in downtown Portland after she moved and opened her practice in LO a few years ago. She's still the BEST eye doctor and gives the best care and customer service. She has an excellent staff. All female (yaaass!) Marissa and Lydia do office management and billing and both ladies are GREAT. Super sweet and are timely about everything. Anything you need you just call them and they are on it! If you're in need of a new eye doctor GO see Dr. Schmidt. She's extremely knowledgeable, very personable, family oriented and very supportive. When I wanted to start wearing contacts a year ago but was a mess, super big fear of touching my eyes, Dr. Schmidt had two appointments with me to make sure I had the contacts that are perfect for me and I was comfortable with inserting and removing them. Dr. Schmidt is like a great girlfriend you see every year and can just pick up right where you left off. The office is in a great location with great parking and easy for an in an out. Dr. Schmidt was wonderful! She is friendly, professional and able to answer all of my questions. All of the staff was very helpful and made myself and my children feel comfortable. I look forward to returning to her for all of my family's eye health needs and highly recommend her to friends and family.
