America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Everyone is so kind! From the person who answers the phones, Dr O is just a 5 star doctor who listened to my needs and helped me after so mamy bad prescriptions from other places, Bonnie and Becca in optical were just sooo helpful helping a very PICKY person pick out glasses and finding me something affordable. The very BEST service! Anyone who rates this place lower is just having a bad day! Only downside... a lot of waiting but they are trying to get a lot of people in who need exams and help people pick out the right contacts/frames and fit. The doctor takes his time to get your prescription correct and he does! Plus this is southern Oregon.... there is always a wait everywhere you go, but it is worth it. Being from medical and dental offices.... 5 stars!! Customer service all around fantastic experience!

I brought in two pairs of glasses that were missing screws and the sweetest associate (shout out to Cora!) took a considerable amount of time and care fixing them and sending me on my way. I was facing a long road trip without proper glasses so I am so appreciative to Cora and America's Best for their help. Kudos!

America's Best, more like America's Worst. First, I waited over an hour to be seen for my appointment. I scheduled my appointment for an exam for 11:20am. I wasn't seen by anyone for the first hour, it took about an hour and a half to be seen by the optometrist. The optometrist was very kind and she did her job very diligently. Second, I wasn't offered a warranty for my frames otherwise I would've gotten it. Third, I wasn't told how to properly clean my glasses. The antiglare (I have never had to get it on glasses before as I was just diagnosed with astigmatism) is apparently very easily scratched and nobody informed me of that. I wasn't given (apparently they were possibly out of free microfiber cloths at the time, which is fine) or offered anything to clean my glasses with. Had I known that my antiglare on the glasses needed to be cleaned a specific way to avoid scratches, I would've cleaned it that exact way. I would've purchased a microfiber cloth to clean them with had I known I needed to clean it with a microfiber cloth specifically. Fourth, I come in to see what I can do about the extensive scratches on my lenses that are under 6 months old and the receptionist is an absolute nightmare. She gave me the worst attitude over how I am 'not supposed to use abrasive surfaces like my shirt to clean my lenses'. I informed her that I wasn't given anything to clean my lenses with nor informed about the sensitivity of the antiglare. She continued to give me attitude so I asked her if I can do something warranty wise. She sent me to another employee who informed me I didn't purchase the $25 warranty. Had I been informed during my initial purchase, I would've gotten the warranty for both of my glasses. Overall, extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. With 2 forms of insurance, I paid over $400 for 2 pairs of glasses, an eye exam, and a 90 day supply of one day contacts.

I have used Americas Best for most of my life and never have had issues, until now. I picked 2 pair of glasses based on the comfortable fit upon my face. The glasses that I received did not fit the same. In fact, they fall off my face when I look down and are now scratched because of it! They explained the glasses making process to me to justify the glasses not fitting. I came in 3 times to have them adjusted, nothing worked. When I asked for them to rectify the issue, they kindly explained that there was nothing they could do. The Best they could offer me is glasses that fall off my face.

Becca was amazing with my great aunt. She sat down with her to find the glasses that my aunt wants and her likes and dislikes from the ones chosen until they found the perfect pair. She was very kind and patient throughout the whole process

Nick was super helpful & very nice, also Dr. Andrew Was nice, but.... the lady at the front desk that checked me in & did the pre exam was VERY, VERY RUDE... I will either go somewhere else next time or refuse for her to help me... all 3 times I have been here someone (women) has been rude. I have the right to decline whatever procedure I want without them being rude to me because I said no. In order to get glasses I don't need to have my eyes dilated nor the puffs of air. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!! 5 stars for Nick & Dr. Andrew & Zero stars for the rude lady

I've used americas best twice and will never use them again. I used them the first time in pueblo colorado, I went to put the first pair on and the lens fell out. The lady said oops and walked away. So I never wore them. Then I went to the americas best in bend oregon and got two pair of the worst glasses I could get. So had to go get some glasses at a competitors store. I will never go to your stores again. I spent good money for nothing

Wonderful staff. Bonnie is an absolutely fantastic employee! She made me feel comfortable, helped with my new insurance, and assisted in picking out a couple beautiful new frames!
