After having a drillbit explode and hit my eyeball I started at urgent care, they immediately noticed a 7mm laceration across my eyeball that was oozing. We were then told to go to Medford ER. On our way to the Medford ER we received a phone call from Dr. Spalding, after hours. He redirected us to his office at 11pm, way after hours. Dr. Spalding took time out of his evening to personally meet us at his closed office. He wasn't fully convinced what I was being told. After dr. Spalding thoroughly looked over my eye He determined that I needed to go to ashland... but he wasn't done helping.... at close to midnight Dr Spalding escorted us from Medford to Ashland, He made sure we were right behind him the whole trip. He then walked into the er in Ashland and told them exactly what he needed them to do... that next morning at 8am we were back at his office. This man took time out of his evening to make sure my eye was saved. Days later and a couple appointments later and he is still there helping me through everything. Dr Spalding, you my friend have a heart of gold and are #1 in the industry, keep up the great work and thank you for everything.

Dr. Tina Rutar is AMAZING. My husband has severe neurological damage and STILL she finds ways to assess his needs.
The staff is caring and compassionate. Their facility even has the ability to assess his vision while still in his wheelchair.
They work with our insurance and allow us to take his prescription to any optical shop of our choice.
Wait times can be long because of how thorough their whole process is, but you leave with a full picture of your eye health.

This is an excellent clinic with caring and well trained helpers. Dr. Jarstad is excellent. She did both cataract surgeries and the results are great. The only thing that I wish is that there was a way to not have to wait so long at each appointment. I really appreciate this clinic and highly recommend it!

I just had my yearly eye exam. The receptionist was nice and personable. The assistant, who did the initial eval was very friendly, thorough and explained the initial results.
