Dr. Johnson was great. She saw me unscheduled in the late afternoon when it felt like I had something in my eye. It turned out to be a piece of metal that had begun rusting. She was very compassionate and caring. I have a new ophthalmologist!

The experience was almost wonderful. Dr. Jona is absolutely terrific! She is a very skilled professional. However the front desk staff was very slow at checking people in and caused me to be 13 minutes late. They need new front desk staff as well as more associates working in the glasses area. I could not find help to get new glasses so I had to leave without any glasses

Dr. Jona Johnson was born in Winnipeg, Canada and grew up in Happy Valley, Oregon. At a young age recognized the gratification that comes with helping others. After receiving her Honors Biology degree and Chemistry minor, Dr. Johnson was accepted into Pacific University College of Optometry. At Pacific she played intramural soccer and was active in student government as Vice President of her class. She used her developing optometry knowledge to participate in volunteer vision screenings and participated in a trip to El Salvador. She received both her Master of Business Administration and Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University.
