Dr. Lee was excellent; pleasant, calm, efficient and communicative. My husband has Alzheimer's and this was his first visit to Eyehealth NW so I was concerned about how he'd react to the myriad questions. Because of the professionalism of all the staff, especially Dr. Lee, everything went smoothly. My daughter and I were encouraged to come into the examining room which was very reassuring and helpful!

The service was excellent, both from the assistant and Dr. Lee. They listened attentively to my comments and medical history regarding my ophthalmological visit. After the physical examination of my eyes, they determined the correct prescription for my glasses, as my current ones were outdated. I informed Dr. Lee about a temporary visual condition, which he examined during this visit. He concluded that if the condition progresses, he will refer me to a specialist in that particular area of ophthalmology. Thank you for the excellent care and the time you dedicated to my consultation.

About Dr. Matthew Lee, OD

Dr. Matthew Lee was born and raised in Chicago. His passion for eye care stemmed from his own experiences with his optometrist growing up. He saw the difference specialty contact lenses could make in someone's life and wanted to provide that same quality of care to others. After receiving his B.A in Nutritional Biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University, he went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Following graduation, Dr. Lee pursued a residency in cornea and contact lenses at the University of Missouri - St. Louis College of Optometry. His passion for specialty contact lenses only grew as he served a large population of patients with corneal disease and injuries.
