Orion Eye Center

Monday I had a frightening experience...I glanced at a window across the room and it was all curvy. I'd had two weeks of wavy lines, but this was different: very pronounced and I was suddenly missing an area in my central vision. Scared, I called Orion, from a recommendation of my good friend. They got me right in within 2 1/2 hours! My dry AMD had turned into 'wet' in one eye. I got my first injection. Everyone was SO kind and professional, explaining every detail. I highly recommend this wonderful facility and Staff!

I had some concerns about some sudden eye issues and was able to schedule an appointment on a very ,very short notice . Had a thorough eye exam by the doctor, issue was found and explained to be a tear in my retina and how lazer surgery can repair the problem. I had everything taken care of in the same day with very satisfied results. No more strange floaters, no headaches and my vision has improved. Again all in the same day. I recommend Redmond Orion Eye Center to all with eye issues.

I went to Orion Eye Center with cataracts and severe floaters. All the staff that I had contact with at the center were very friendly and great at their jobs. Dr Karen Grove did an excellent job with my Cataract surgery and Dr Kristine Traustason did the same with the victrectomy for my floaters. These two doctors are miracle workers and I recommend them highly! My eyesight is better than it has ever been!

Such a wonderful caring facility! I had an emergency type of suitation and wasn't sure if I needed to be seen. ORIoN got me right in. The staff was very kind and helpful and the doctor that saw me explained what was happening and put me at ease and told me what to watch for. These guys are amazing! I highly recommend them not only on their professionalism but also as a friendly caring team. An A+

All the assistants as well as clinical techs are super helpful, friendly. And professionally top notch. A person is made to almost feel like family My caterac/new lenses surgery went smooth and fast. Painless. I highly recommend this group!

I had exceptional experience with cataract surgery at Orion Eye Center in Redmond, OR. I have astigmatism and choose the Toric Lense. It is expensive and not covered by Medicare, but I chose to have it and glad I did. The results are so good. I have 20 20 vision for nearsightedness. I don't need glasses after 65 years of wearing them. My doctor is Dr. Billinghurst. She is the nicest doctor. The whole experience was efficient, and all the staff was friendly and caring. I had no pain during or after surgery. I highly recommend this facility and of course I love my doctor.

Had a retina detachment in Grants pass Oregon and couldn't get emergency surgery. I called the Redmond Oregon Reyna center and got in same day. They were amazing with a brilliant and well knowledged and spoken doctor who was very precise. I waited a week before even going to emergency room to diagnos which was a mistake however, I'm in for surgery early morning and will result in keeping my eyesight!! Sooo grateful! Top notch!

For several years, the staff at Orion had been performing annual inspections of my eyes due to a med I take for my arthritis. But I developed a fast growing cataract in my right eye that severely change my already bad astigmatism prescription. I choose to pay extra for the best lens, with the objective of having 20/20 vision in my eye (something I hadn't had for over 40 years). At the one-week post op eye exam, we had achieved that goal. By the way, the cataract "surgery" is an easier process then going to the dentist for a cleaning! Thank you Orion (and especially Dr Pilling)...I'm very happy. And if the day ever comes, I will look forward to having my left eye corrected.
