Imagine taking your car to a mechanic and all they do is look at the body of the car and take it for a quick test drive. Then they say "it looks good, no dings or knicks, it drove just fine around the block, you're good to go!" But in reality there are serious issues deep in the engine that are going to cause long-term problems for you. They completely missed those issues because they weren't looking for them. With respect, many eye doctors only check the basics: how clearly do you see? Do you need glasses? Most people are satisfied with that because we don't realize there's more to our eyes and vision than simply needing glasses or not. Under the hood, there's a TON more going on, and if there are problems there, a simple vision check isn't going to catch them, but those problems will cause life-long issues that can then be misdiagnosed as ADHD, learning disabilities, "he's just not athletic," etc. Dr. Eagles does a complete assessment that looks beyond simple acuity. Even though one of my children has 20/20 vision, there were many other issues present that she caught. She gave us exercises, we've been doing them, and have noticed significantly improvement in my child's life: more focus, better athletic focus, not feeling exhausted after reading and schoolwork and thus having a better attitude about school and learning, and others. The mood in our has improved as a result. his life, and our lives as a family, are significantly better because one component of our family has become healthier. I usually write quick reviews. 5 stars, would recommend! But here I wanted to expand because of how important their work really is. Bring your kids and yourself here for a full assessment. You will not regret it.

Yesterday was my first visit to Silverton Eye Care to see Dr. Eagles, and it was a wonderful experience. I live in Oregon City, but after hearing great things about SEC, I decided to make the trip--and it was well worth it. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and informative, taking the time to explain everything clearly. Adam was especially helpful, patiently walking me through my options and assisting me in choosing the perfect pair of glasses. It was truly a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend Silverton Eye Care to anyone!

In addition to a very thorough exam, Dr. Eagles listened to my concerns and health complications to understand what is going on with my vision, and provide me with a diagnosis that I've not been told before! I am beyond grateful for the hope that a simple correction to my glasses will help resolve my vision problems!

I went here to purchase glasses and it was a great experience. They have a good selection to choose from. All the staff is friendly and helpful.
