Oregon Eye Associates: Aryah Keyhan F MD

I saw Dr. Aryah & his associates for the retinal hole in my left eye which became larger in the past 5-6 years. The various tests were completed efficiently by assistants which indicated that my near & far visions had become worse in addition to the hole. I also saw the cataract specialist Dr. Puckett and the retina specialist Dr. Beardsley to discuss possible surgery. Upshot was that a surgery may or may not help the hole. Since I don't have any underlying conditions like diabetes, surgery won't be necessary but new glasses may help the double vision. So I did get new glasses which resolved the problem. I rather get glasses than surgery! My insurances paid most of the costs except for a little copay. Pros: this office has a network of specialists in 1 place. Each specialist has his/her own receptionist, assistants, different offices in main building. Can call main phone line to see same specialist in Springfield. Building has bathrooms, small sitting areas, free parking & nearby parking if main one is full. Cons: none that I saw.

Medical assistants do the vision exams and not the doctor.
