America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Honestly not impressed with the level of service or quality of the glasses. My waited for 40 minutes past initial appointment time because a doctor had called out and no one happen to tell me this; I asked the glass specialist when picking my glasses out. He rushed me through the exam process without listening to my concerns about new glasses. My first pair of readers did not work at all. I had to go back in for new exam and order new lenses. Now after only couple months of the replacements my lenses are extremely scratched. After visit about warranty and inquiry about the scratch protection that I wanted with glasses, I was told that I need to wash the brand-new rag they gave me with the glasses because they can collect debris and scratch the lenses. I mostly use the Lense cleaners. My previous pair of glasses are still in great shape after 2-years of use. Very disappointed with this company.

The people that work here are super nice, however, be warned.. if you have insurance your appointment and exam is not free. They charge your insurance. Also they are very misleading in the two for one and all the ads you see on TV so just be aware that you are not getting what they are advertising. It is very misleading. The people were very nice although they don't have a lot of selection

First time going to this location and I was genuinely surprised, not only was the appointment process easy and fast but the staff was great as well. I was checked out by Dr Howell and he made sure to answer all my questions I've had as well as make sure if I was doing good throughout the exam. The staff was amazing as well, I was a little hesitant to find new frames but an employee named Nancy helped me out and suggested great frames to go with my everyday style. I would highly recommend going to this store for your new prescriptions !

I don't have my glasses yet but I want everyone to know that Julie there, was SO helpful. She picked the cutest glasses for me, matching my style, my face, my makeup and piercings. She picked out frames that fit me perfectly, and ones that I would have never picked (clear!) <3 I was so worried about looking like a complete dork with my glasses and she made me feel excited and confident about them :)

I've been a glasses wearer since I was 5 years old. That's been a very long time. For the first time I've had a pair of glasses that I can comfortably say, I hated. And these glasses apparently hated me. I spent hundreds of dollars on these glasses and they've been nothing but an issue. I wore these glasses for over a year before I finally went back to the America's Best location in Tigard, Oregon where I bought them. I was fortunate enough to meet the store manager, Eli. I explained to Eli my feelings towards my glasses and all the issues I was having with them. He looked me up in the system, reviewed my account and within minutes, he told me he was going to help me get into a better pair of glasses. We looked for frames together and once I/we found a pair that I liked, actually, loved he sent in to have my "hated" glasses replaced. I don't know what I expected when I stopped in but I left a very satisfied customer. I will continue to purchases my glasses and my family's glasses from America's Best for years to come. Thank you Eli for going well above and beyond!!! You could give a class on the customer service experience you gave me.

Five stars for Aimee at America's Best in Tigard OR for helping me solve a complicated prescription eyeglass issue! I needed wrap around sunglass frames for dry eyes that fit snugly around my face, and high contrast prescription lenses that blocked glare yet were lighter in shade for my retina issues. She solved them quickly and helped me find a spare set of frames for backup. Went above and beyond. Thank you!!

I made the appointment the same day while I was in class. I arrived a couple minutes early and I was checked in by the front desk upon entry. All the procedures went very smoothly. One of the office assistants, Julia, helped process insurance and payments without any problems. I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes.
