My daughter's medical journey has been rare, unique, and, frankly, perplexing. We received multiple and often conflicting diagnoses from different sources, and for a long time, no one had clear answers. But today, this review isn't about what we didn't know; it's about what happened once we finally found the right doctor. Dr. Sophia Fang is one of the most diligent, curious, and tenacious physicians I have ever encountered. From start to finish, her commitment to finding answers and ruling out possibilities was extraordinary. Her entire team of medical assistants, front office staff, and support team, all reflected that same level of dedication and professionalism. When it came time to make decisions and take action, Dr. Fang led with confidence and precision, fully trusting her team to execute everything seamlessly. And they delivered. She performed two successful surgeries, and post-op, my daughter's vision has improved from 20/200 to 20/25, truly life-changing results. Thank you, Dr. Fang, and thank you to Anita, Lauren, and every member of the support staff. Your expertise, compassion, and diligence have made an immeasurable difference for our family. A well-deserved 10/10 experience. **Just wanted to add an edit after reading through some of the other reviews for Child Eye... the front office and support staff have been NOTHING but exceptional and empathetic, every single person I have interacted with. And, I am not always an easy client to deal with... MamaBear shows up and I have no problem being my kid's loudest and most obnoxious advocate. Every office has rules to follow, and this office is incredibly busy/popular, so their ability to *immediately* accommodate you is limited, and they keep rules just like every other business/dr. office.. it's not personal or unempathetic, they are really great group of individuals who act with care for their patients.

I have just completed my final check up post strabismus surgery performed in November of 2025 by Dr Sophia Fang at Child Eye Care Associates. From my initial appointment through the entire process I have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, thoroughness, instructions, compassion, understanding and kindness. Dr Fang, her Opthroptist, Sally Murray, and each and every supporting staff manifested these qualities throughout. My surgery and recovery were entirely successful; I was very recalcitrant in the beginning out of fear but all the hesitation dissipated after my first visit because of the reasons stated above. I would recommend anyone at any age with my condition to reach out to this exemplary clinic.

Dr. Wheeler and his staff are phenomenal. He is kind and great with kids. His staff is equally exceptional. My son has been seeing Dr. Wheeler since he was two years old. He is having surgery with him this week and we feel very confident about it. The office may not necessarily be shiny and new but the quality of care is 10/10. I can't recommend them enough.

Dr Fang is lovely. Our appointment was late in the afternoon and they were running late which is hard with a 15 month old but they had a little toy area for the kids to play in while they wait.

I'm writing this with a heavy heart because I truly had high hopes for this appointment. I drove 5 months pregnant two hours with my three kids -- ages 8, 4, and 1 -- to get to this office today. On the way, my 1-year-old had an enormous blowout that went through all her clothes and completely soaked her car seat. I had to clean everything up in the parking lot before going in, and I'm honestly just grateful I even made it to the location at all. When we finally got inside, I explained what happened, but because we were late, I was told the appointment had to be rescheduled. After everything it took to get there -- the long drive, the stress, the cleanup, juggling three kids -- being turned away was absolutely devastating. I even had to put my baby in my 4-year-old's oversized spare clothes just to get inside. I left the office in tears, completely overwhelmed, because it felt like no one understood or cared about what it took for us to make it there. I know schedules matter, but the lack of compassion in such an extremely difficult moment was heartbreaking. I wish my experience had been met with a little empathy, especially from a pediatric practice.

I was taking both my kids to this clinic and we were patients of Dr. Goodman for several years. My daughter repeatedly complained about vision problems and difficulty reading, and we brought her in multiple times. Dr. Goodman dismissed our concerns every time and insisted her vision was perfectly fine. Something didn't feel right, so our pediatrician recommended getting a second opinion. At a different clinic, after the standard tests showed nothing, the doctor there actually listened to us and went further instead of brushing us off. she checked for hidden prescription issues, and sure enough, he found that our daughter does in fact need glasses. It was extremely frustrating to learn that something this important was missed not once but twice by Dr. Goodman. I honestly do not understand how a children's eye doctor could be so careless and dismissive. Ignoring a child's ongoing vision complaints is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants a doctor that actually takes parents' concerns seriously.

Although the name may imply they only treat children, I can tell you that's not the case. I was referred to Dr. Fang for my Thyroid Eye Disease. Dr. Fang and the staff are phenomenal. Questions are answered completely allowing you to feel confident in your treatment decisions. My double vision is gone, we have a a couple of other corrections due to the fact that TED can be complicated to treat. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I've received.

Staff is always friendly. They see you on time , rarely a bit late . I feel they are very thorough in their exam process . Dr Wheeler and Sally do a good job explaining things to you and spend ample time answering questions .
