TLC Laser Eye Centers

I had my surgery almost exactly a year ago. The entire process was easy- great doctors, quick appointments, and since I live farther away than most patients, they called my local eye doctor and arranged for me to have check-ups there. However, they never paid them and I've been getting a letter every month with a $718 bill from my local doctor, with a threat that the balance will go to collections. I have called TLC, emailed, left messages, all to no avail. I already paid an exorbitant amount for the surgery and to TLC. They have apparently refused to pay my doctor though and now I am left with those consequences. Tread carefully with them.

My overall experience at TLC was amazing. Dr. Brian Ki guided me through the procedure and was very informative about all aspects of the procedure. He took his time to explain everything and really helped put me at ease. The whole team at TLC was very kind and helpful, they answered all my follow up questions promptly. The procedure it self took 10 minutes and I was able to see 20/15 the following morning, which was amazing! Dr. Womack took the time to meet me prior to the procedure and answer any last minute questions I had and had good bed side manner throughout the procedure. They also partner with my local optometrist in Portland, making the follow up appointments extremely convenient. I would definitely recommend working with the TLC team

The experience here was better than I could have even imagined. I have worn glasses and contacts for almost 20 years and just could not handle it anymore, so I finally pulled the trigger. Went in for the free consultation and had my appointment scheduled for about a week later without any pressure from them at all. The entire staff I worked with there was phenomenal. So calm, kind, and QUICK. The day of my procedure I was sooo nervous I could actually feel my heart pounding. Everyone made normal conversation while still explaining the processes. Dr. Cornell did my procedure and when he came in to introduce himself beforehand, he could tell I was nervous and told me to focus on my breathing. He was so calm and really made me feel comfortable. The staff talked to me the entire time, told me what I needed to do and had a normal conversation with me to help distract me. The procedure itself was about 10 minutes and I was in the office for about 50 minutes all in all. I am now seeing 20/20 the day after and feel amazing. There are so many amazing things I could say, but if you're considering getting LASIK, this is the place to do it and I highly recommend Dr. Cornell! I'm so happy. Thank you!

Yesterday was a momentous day for me. I finally had Lasik surgery. It is by far the best thing I have done for myself. Wearing glasses since about the 4th grade and contacts for about 38 years. If anyone is thinking about it, just do it. I went to TLC in Bridgeport and the whole experience has been amazing. I HIGHLY recommend them. Dr. Womack is the chillest doctor and instantly made me feel comfortable. I am now free of contacts and super thick glasses! Only question? Why in the heck did I wait so long to do it? Lol

TLC made me feel comfortable and explained things to me thoroughly (and I had a lot of questions). Dr. Ki and all other staff I interacted with were kind, patient and informative. On day of surgery, Dr. Ward was very confident which made me feel at ease. It was an in and out procedure and I was amazed at the results as soon as next day. I would recommend TLC to others interested in Lasik eye surgery.

The customer service and level of experience here was amazing. I was speechless after my surgery, and simply amazed at how well the procedures went. I highly recommend this location for anyone considering Lasik. My vision is better than I ever thought it could be after wearing glasses for 30 years. So impressed and happy with the service. Highly satisfied, highly recommended. I required corrective vision in only one eye and came here for LASIK. They were extremely efficient with my time, very thorough in explanations of pros & cons, and I learned a lot about the mechanics of the procedure as well as anatomy of the eye. From initial consult to procedure (and now 20/20 vision) took less than a week (vision will still fluctuate for a few months though, but 20/20 day 1 gives me a lot of hope). All the staff were super helpful and easy going, and the tech, optometrist, and surgeon were all very knowledgeable and kept me very comfortable during the entire process. If my other eye ever needs correction I will definitely be coming back here.

TLC was able to get me in right away for my initial consultation and I was able to schedule my procedure the following week. The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable, and they were great about answering all of my questions and helping me to lower my anxiety. The procedure itself - though uncomfortable as it was - was over in 10 minutes, and I could see perfectly clear immediately afterwards. It truly is a life changing event and I'm thrilled with the outcome. Like everyone says, I wish I would've done this 10 years ago!
