America's Best in Abington to the rescue this morning. I walked in there with my daughter's broken glasses that she had purchased there a few months prior and Angelina was eager to help me she gave me amazing customer service she had such a pleasant and upbeat attitude she was a pleasure to do business with. Angelina turned me over to a technician named Jay who applied his master skills and fixed my daughter's glasses within minutes. This location is my go to for myself and my family with amazing staff and quality service that's local and affordable.
My mother went to your office and selected two frames. Almost three weeks went by with no update. My father finally reached out, and only then were we told that one pair was ready.
When my parents arrived, they were given the one completed pair and then told that for the second pair you only had the lenses, and that my mother could bring in her own frames from home for you to use. That is completely unacceptable. She paid for two full pairs of glasses, frames and lenses included.
In what world does a customer pay for two frames, receive only one, and then is told they must provide their own frame for the second pair? This is not what we agreed to or paid for. It has been OVER A MONTH and there is still NO NEWS OF THE SECOND FRAME.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at your location. My initial contact exam was mishandled, requiring me to retake it. After finally receiving my samples, they were incorrect, when I told them they were wrong and I can't see anything their front receptionist told me to wait two weeks since it takes time to adjust. I've used contacts for years now, have been to other Americas best locations and have never had such a prolonging issue such as this leading to further delays which I can only assume is from it being mishandled from the beginning. Once the correct samples finally arrived and I placed my order through Americas Best, I have been unable to get any clear information about its status meaning who and where they placed the order from since it doesn't show up on their system, and yes I've reached out to the shipping company! It's been a month+ now that I've gone to them, had to deal with this and still, no contacts. I came here for contacts because I've never had an issue with Americas Best. The constant back and forth has been frustrating, and no one seems to have answers. I called my last time and now I have to wait " a few more business days" to hear back from them if they even have anything. I've tried way too many times to give the benefit of the doubt, but I hope this issue is resolved soon to get this nightmare over with and never have to come to this location again.
They were absolutely wonderful. Lite and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and customer service oriented. Haisha, April, Deniece, Henni, and Dr. Boguard made my daughter and my experience exceptional. I've been coming to this location for years but today ws the best ever. I would recommend America's Best but especially this location
Truly horrible. Nobody seems to know what's going on, spoke to several different people on the phone to try to order contacts, was told on several different occasions that someone would call me back, no one ever did. Went into the store to try and get a copy of my prescription so I could just order the contacts myself, I was told I needed to come back for an appointment to "finalize my prescription". Went into for my appointment and was told I need a whole new eye exam..even though I had one there 6 months prior, so I had to pay out of pocket for an exam I didn't even need. Finally I sit down to order my contacts, not a minute later, two of the employees working in the front are arguing over my head(not quietly) with each other. I'm just baffled that they would do this in front of customers and the level of unprofessionalism is astounding. The lady helping me order my contacts however, was lovely, I hope both sides of her pillow are cold :)
I went in this morning for an emergency medical eye exam. I work in Jenkintown and live in Levittown, so not my doctor or eye place. They were ALL so helpful from beginning to end. And Dr. Stacey Baugaard was the kindest and best eye doctor I have seen since 1985, when I first started wearing glasses/contacts. They took a very stressful situation for me and made it better.
Went here a few months ago to look at glasses but felt ignored. Gave them another try since they are in the area I frequent. Issue #2: I was told I needed a new prescription in 2024 despite my prescription being filled by them in 2023. Issue #3: when I went to pick up my glasses, a lady told a Hispanic worker to "speak correctly" because "nobody understands her Spanish accent".
Issue #4: I went in to get my glasses, that I purchased less than 6 months ago, adjusted today around 2pm. I noticed there was a lasting smudge but assumed it was from the amount of alcohol used to clean them. I thanked Heather for her help and walked to TJ Maxx, which was less than 5 minutes. While in the store, I realized the smudge was not going away. So I inspected the glasses and returned to the store. The same lady who made comment about accents came over and said she didn't see any issues with my glasses. Heather came from the back and suggested I "use a drop of Dawn to cut through the grease and that should clear it up". Apparently the manager was out to lunch. So I left and called customer service and was told I'd back from them. Well thanks to the quality of Apple pictures, the picture shows the obvious damage that's done on both sides of the lens. Heather burned my lens while doing the adjustment and now my vision is very blurry in the center of my left eye! I need a new lens asap and she refused to take accountability! I work on a computer all day and drive! This is extremely unacceptable and I would like this resolved quickly!!! I can be reached at the number on file for Diamond Santiago!

Today, my daughter had her first eye examination and the the team of this location gave her and us the parents a great experience. From the front desk, They gave us a warm welcome, the pre test lady was so kind with my daughter and with us asking her so many questions, then we saw Dr Ashley Sippel, she is so knowledgeable, She walked us through the process and the result so clearly and in way that made me feel more calm with the diagnosis. When it was time to pick the frame, deal with the insurance and prices, Danny was just the very best, so eloquently explained all and he was so friendly and patience. Overall a great place and amazing team.
