I don't know about some of the bad reviews. This place was awesome. Tim at the front was very polite and helpful. The eye exam was very professional and thorough. 10 s.

This place was horrible. I definitely know why they down sized. I went in for my appointment and was just sitting there waiting and I can hear the guy in the back laughing and watching videos. There were exposed wires everywhere. The whole process just felt extremely rushed. I ended up paying for another eye exam somewhere else. 10/10 do not recommend

The best place ever. Tim and Monica are the absolute best. Our whole family goes here for so many years now. Never had any issues. They have a great selection of glasses for adults and kids. They are very helpful and informative on insurances. Tim accomadetes every need for you. The best eye doctor in the slatebelt. I recommend blue valley vision totally.

My name is Gabrielle (using my fiance's data for this) and I have been going here for years and I absolutely love the service he provides, even after not seeing the Dr for years he remembers what I do for a living and asks me how my business is going, he really takes interest in you as person/patient. The glasses I got from this place I just love so much, I can't even count the compliments I've gotten on them. They sell elegant and beautiful frames for a reasonable price. I'm happy with this place in all aspects!

My toddler needs a very high prescription so we were weary about where to order glasses from. All I can say is that I wish I had found out about blue valley vision sooner! The customer service was incredible, prices affordable (in our case a fraction of the cost of previous optical shop) and the quality of his glasses is amazing. Hands down, 5 stars. We will definitely be going back shortly for his prescription sunglasses

Great experience. They gave me an evening appointment to fit my work schedule, and I didn't have to wait a month! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They found contacts to fit my needs that were also affordable. My contacts arrived in less than a week. I will be returning!

I am soo taking back what I said. I was a loyal customer of theirs for over six years. They now no longer contact their customers to confirm an appointment that was made by either via email, phone call or text. Then apparently you are NOT ALLOWED TO CANCEL EVER. If you do, that counts against you. If you call about an appointment they are not professional enough to return your phone calls especially when you leave a voicemail. Hence me not having no shows. They told me today that due to me having cancellations going back to 2017 I would have to do a walk in when they know that I live in Stroudsburg and do not have a car. Expect me to show up, wait in hopes that they will see me, and if they don't, I would have to leave, and walk in another day to again wait and see if they can fit me in???!!! People have jobs, people have families, people get sick. If I could put a ZERO STARS for this ridiculous, unprofessional, rude and unaccommodating company I would. They lost a long time customer. I would HIGHLY suggest to not go to these people. Their selection is minimal at best, and the doctor plus the staff are extremely rude. I cannot believe how badly they treated me and will continue to make it my mission to spread this information as far and as much as I can. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Please tell me what phone number or email or card you were sending these reminders to because I never received any. Which was the case for the last three no shows. I never received a call from your office of a reminder or anything of that nature so you need to stop lying. If you're telling the truth, please provide me with this proof because I would love to see this. In addition I called your office the past several times I had appointments saying that I did not receive a reminder call so I had no idea when my appointment was and had to make it several months in advance because "you were all booked up". Also, on Tuesday 03/12/2024, I requested a copy of my medical records so that I can provide them to my new doctor. Your receptionist said she would email them to me and I still have not received that. I called again today and left a voicemail asking about the request form AGAIN and once again, no return call. You refusing to provide me with my medical records is unethical and I really would not want to have to report you for doing so. I expect that email by Monday morning or I will report you for refusing to provide me with my medical records. In all honesty you did me a favor because your staff and your doctors are extremely unhelpful, rude and condescending. You show that plainly in your response alone. I know this is plainly discrimination due to the insurance I have. Good luck staying in business.

Last night, my 19 year old daughter went to Blue Valley Vision for the first time. This was also her first trip to a new facility where she had to handle everything herself. The staff was extremely helpful and she came home raving about how much they actually cared about helping her and her boyfriend. From the first round of paperwork, to the exam, picking out frames and lenses to the insurance. She could not say enough about how well they were both treated. There are a total of 6 people in our family and I am pretty sure that Blue Valley just got another 5 patients! Thank you so much for taking great care of her!
