Kaminski Eye Care

My family and I have been going to Kaminski Eye Care for years, trusting we were in good hands. Unfortunately, we've recently realized how much we've been overpaying--and feel completely misled. While Dr. Kaminski seems knowledgeable but she rushes through appointments and doesn't prioritize patient care or transparency. For example, we only just learned that patients are legally entitled to receive a copy of their prescription after every visit. In over four years, we were never given ours or even told we had the right to it. This led us to believe we had to buy glasses through their office. When I once asked about finding frames I liked elsewhere, the optician said he could either order them for us or we could buy the frames and bring them to him for the lenses--never once mentioning we could take our prescription and shop freely. That's not just misleading, it's manipulative. Worse still, My daughter found a pair of glasses she liked, and after insurance, we were quoted around $250. Something didn't feel right, so we checked another optical shop--and we bought them for $126. That's more than a 50% markup. To top it off, they tried to charge me $40 for a contact lens fitting--even though it's fully covered by my insurance. Thank goodness I was able to find a new eye doctor who is much more honest, forthcoming, and actually much more knowledgeable as well. I learned more about my insurance and glasses/lenses in one meeting than I ever had with Kaminski. It's frustrating to realize how much we've overpaid, thinking we were supporting a practice that cared. Sadly, that no longer feels true, and we won't be returning.

I recently moved and needed to establish a new eye Dr. The Kaminski Eye Care center was in network with my vision insurance (Guardian) , was easy to schedule with , and I really enjoyed my visit. Dr. Foster explained what she saw as went through her review , was kind, and answered all my questions. Jeff also helped me with an old pair of glasses and readjusted them for me. I highly recommend The Kaminski Team and their vision services.

My husband needed new glasses, and we were referred to Kaminski Eye Care by a family member. Jeff was a huge help as we looked and was extremely patient and kind with the many questions we asked. We left with not only new glasses but prescription sunglasses as well! Carrie and Denise at the Front Desk were super friendly and made check out very easy. Thank you so much to the wonderful team at Kaminski Eye Care - we will be back!

Everyone is this office are super nice! Jeff is awesome to work with if you need new glasses. He's very knowledgeable on the frames. Denise and Michelle are so friendly. Dr Kaminski and Dr Foster are great eye doctors. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Kaminski is the best! She's knowledgeable, caring, and truly takes the time to make sure you're taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone needing quality eye care!

Dr Kaminiski is a great dr spent time explaining everything to me. I drove from Plum Pa to see her. Plus Jeff is great helping pick out glasses that look great and i feel great. Thanks Jeff outstand customer service.

Do yourself a favor and make Kaminski Eye Care your one stop shop for all things optical! Update with big shout out to Jeff the Kaminski hardware guy, outstanding customer service, he knows how to treat you right!!

Doctor Foster was excellent. She was able to do my whole exam in record time. She was fun to have as my doctor and kept everything jovial. I would highly recommend her. The Staff is always efficient and also pleasant to work with providing a great experience.
