Office is extremely busy, but effectively run to streamline the process. The doctor was thorough with my exam and explained things very well. Technologists performing my tests were friendly and professional. I walked in terrified and left feeling expertly cared for. I was thankful that they accepted my insurance and disclosed the coverage and potential payment days before my appointment. My only issues were that I was not offered the option of starting a patient portal, as some of the patients were and no printed exit summary was provided. I would highly recommend Mid Atlantic, my care was excellent!

Absolutely the best staff. This place is always busy yet there is hardly no wait. They all work together smoothly which creates a steady flowing of patients. On July 29th I came in with my mother for her appointment. While we were waiting for Dr. Kuriyan, I heard two of the employees, who I later found out were named Kayla and Tiffany, talking about a patient they had who was seizure prone. I was disgusted to hear them laughing and making fun of this patient. I do not remember all of the conversation but I do remember one said something like, "What do you want me to do? Hold your tongue?" as well as "Let me know when you are done with that." They were laughing and making fun of someone for something they cannot control. The walls are thin so I heard a lot of the conversation, especially since they were speaking loudly and were standing by the doors. I tried to convince my mother not to come back to the Bethlehem office but she loves Dr. Kuriyan so much that she was willing to overlook this situation. If this is how employees at MAR talk about patients in the hallway, who knows what else they say and how they treat their patients?! I am thoroughly disgusted and hope someone will actually take the time to address this.
