Carty Eye Associates

I am so grateful for Carty Eye Associates. I had a severe eye infection and they were able to get me in to see Dr. Asal Sapahi the same day that I called. Very good eye care team.

Tanya was so easy to work with. Her calm, comfortable demeanor was appreciated. Dr. Stein was professional and respectful, giving me confidence in his assessment

Dr. Pendse was excellent: brilliant, and technician CeeCee was a joy to behold. If eye care can be fun, you nailed it!

I didn't have to wait They took me right in and immediately began my tests for evaluation I have been coming here for years and that is how satisfied I am Now my husband goes there too.

I am 68 and on Medicare. I called them to get a quote for an eye exam (just to get a prescription for lost eyeglasses). The lady told me that Medicare didn't cover eye exams but they will submit the claim differently so my total cost would be $50. I paid $50 during the visit, but received a bill for additional $213 three weeks later. When I called them again I was told it was a part of my new year deductible. This was not mentioned during the original call. $263 for an eye exam sounds outrages. This was my last time at Carty Eye Associates. I need to add a couple more things: 1. My cost was $213 +$50. The insurance company was charged $350. So, they got $263 (from me) plus $137 from the insurance company. A total of $400 for a simple eye exam. If it smells like a rat, it does. Now, I know there are descent places charging less than of it WITHOUT ANY INSURANCE involved. 2. I spent between 90 and 120 minutes there. Mostly sitting in one of the three lobbies. 3. My doctor, Dr Sepahi probably left her good manners at home that morning. She has an accent, and do I (born in Poland), but there is no reason to raise the voice when I couldn't understand her directions, "DON'T JUST LOOK AROUND, LOOK UP RIGHT". After that, she just started pointing directions with her hands. I greatly appreciated this.

I have been a long time patient of Carty Eye. Every doctor and staff member I have encountered has been wonderful. I don't know how anyone could possibly say anything negative and my only guess is that they have never really been to this office. I would recommend this practice that is open 7 days a week(who else can say that?) to anyone who wants to be treated professionally and with the utmost respect. I actually look forward to going for my eye exams!

On a Sunday morning I woke up and could not open my eyes because they hurt so much. This was after trying for several weeks to get an appointment at my current eye doctors office, and they told me I would have to wait months for an appointment. On Sunday morning I was able to get an appointment immediately at Carty Eye Associates. The speed and service was amazing. I found out that morning that I had several cornea ulcers! The experts at Carty told me I was only days away from going blind! With their expertise and help I was able to get the many medications I needed at discounted prices because they gave me several coupons to help pay for the expensive eye drops I had to take eleven times a day. They were also very accommodating in setting up many follow-up appointments. I would like to say thank you to Carty Eye Associates, because without them I would not have my vision today. I highly recommend Carty to anyone looking for eye care!
