Wish I could say my experience was good, however I was fairly uncomfortable during my last visit. My first visit wasn't bad, and the nurses were friendly as well as the second.
My second visit however, I had to wait almost an extra 45 minutes for my appointment doctor because he was so backed up. When I got in, it felt rushed and like they didn't listen to my issues the first time.
Im not used to having my eyes touched/worked on. Ive never had glasses or contacts so I've never needed a eye doctor. When they were looking at it, I was constantly told to "relax my eyeballs" like I totally can just do that when getting jabbed by a q tip or whatever they use to fold your eye lid open. Overall I knew it wouldn't be a totally comfortable experience, but this just felt rushed and uncaring and I felt like the doctor was losing his patience even though in the process even though I had to wait a long time for them to see me.
Ive also never had a follow up to see how I was doing. I got the bill though!

Doctors are wonderful, staff is patient and friendly. The only problem that I can see is that the office environment is not handicapped friendly. You must stand at the reception desk to check in and for someone who is mobility challenged, it is difficult. Hard to write when you're hanging onto the 4 foot high counter and you're only 4'11".

My husband and I went in and were incredibly impressed with the thoroughness
for our first visit. My husband had all the necessary tests. We spoke with a fantastic nurse that explained all of our options what was covered by insurance and what wasn't. We saw the doctor and he examined my husbands eyes as well and went over all the options as well as the procedure and after care. We then moved to the scheduler. We had the surgery scheduled and all the after care appointments. We haven't had the surgery yet but so far 10 out of 10

He gave us options, but also stated his professional preferred course of action. He did not rush us, and gave us numerous chances to ask questions during the exam and after the subsequent testing procedure. I highly recommend Scott and Christie Eyecare.
