Easy to make an appointment for an exam. Doctors are skilled and educate you on eye health. They are patient when teaching you to use contacts. Office staff is well versed at navigating insurance. Good selection of glasses are available.

This has been the third or fourth eye doctor I have visited, and by far the friendliest I've been to! The entire staff! The receptionist left a friendly first impression upon me in the 30ish seconds or so that I interacted with her. Both the assistant running my pre-exam and Dr. Guirguis were super helpful, thorough, and made the exam super painless. The visit ended with Kathleen (or maybe it was Katherine?), the GM, who really wrapped up an awesome first visit with a warm personality. 10/10 visit!!

I would not recommend going here. Everything from setting up the exam to the billing and verifying the prescription was a frustrating process. No one could figure out billing since my coverage is through my health insurance (4 different people called me trying to figure it out) and couldn't figure it out until I showed up for the exam. When I went to order the contacts from them, I couldn't get anyone to call me back (called at 10 AM, was told "I'm the only person here and I'm with a patient. I'll call you back.") until 5 minutes before I walked in the door (5:45 PM) asking for a print out of my prescription to order online. Once I ordered the contacts online, no one could reach the office for two days. They said the phone was busy every time they called so my order was held up because they could not verify the prescription. They are understaffed and not organized. The front desk person was pretty rude when I showed up and asked for my prescription to order contacts somewhere else. Maybe the other locations are better, but don't go to this location.

Medical staff is helpful and professional, but office staff is downright arrogant. They made mistakes in billing insurance, which caused several wasted hours on the phone with insurance. The staff was obstinate that they couldnt have made an error in billing, which they were forced to admit because we stood in the clinic and had insurance on speaker. Multiple visits and several hours of arguing with insurance, because the office staff does not do the job right, is not acceptable

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The exam was comprehensive and the doc took the time to get to know me. I would recommend Chester County Opticians to anyone who looks for eye care professionals who genuinely care about their patients.

Personalized attention and service. Dr Guirguis and Shanna and at Matt are great. Went to one of the bigger chains but came back to Chester County Opticians. More savings and better service. Only complaint is that their hours are inconsistent. Randomly closed, late opening... makes it hard to get help.

I am only sharing this because I think it is relevant. Most of us work at our jobs Monday thru Friday and have Saturday & Sunday off. Sunday most places like this are closed, which leaves Saturday. My wife has been nagging me for over a year to get my eyes checked and new glasses as I have been using reader glasses since my $800 pair broke. Guess what? The don't have a Dr. In on Saturdays!! Maybe I am making too big an issue on this but they should have on their site that there is only a Dr. available Mon-Fri??

I was literally yelled at by the doctor for not bringing in contacts when I had been told not to. She was incredibly unprofessional and spoke to me in a manner that I did not appreciate. I would never go to this person again she was so rude that I almost walked out. After I came back with my contacts, she began yelling at me in front of everyone in her waiting room. People actually left after that because they felt bad for me. I suggest no on go to her because she does not know how to speak to people.
