I'm quite shocked by the amount of positive reviews because my experience was less than impressive. I'll give 2 stars because Dr. Frank is a decent doctor. I first called for an eye exam explaining that I was moving to Florida in a few weeks and wanted to ensure that there was time to receive glasses (and ample time to ensure they were correct) before I left. I was told it would take about a week for them to come in. Ok great! That works. Two weeks later no word on my glasses. When I finally got to pick them up, they were plain distance glasses with no transition. Then I get quoted a price on the glasses which were already paid for!!! Thankfully I had the receipt to prove it. Ok, to make it right, I was told I could keep the pair that was wrong and they would remake the glasses and mail them to me. So I'm driving to the "sunshine state" with no transition in the lenses. Today I get a call that my glasses are ready with the new winter hours so I know when I can pick them up. I'm in Florida now. Won't be getting there anytime soon. If I were still in PA , I would not return to that office. Oh, and by the way, I had to ask for a case and cleaning solution after nothing was offered to me.

Dr. Frank is a wonderful man and a wonderful doctor. He has been extremely helpful to me and is very friendly. He is happy to explain things and answer questions, and he has a tremendously positive outlook. I have been going here for a few years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs an optometrist. I'd give this 6/5 stars if I could.

I stopped by Dr. Frank's to have my frame tightened. He was very kind and welcoming. After the doctor adjusted the frames, they fit perfect.
After thanking him and leaving, I noticed a haze over both lenses. No matter how I tried, I could not clean away the haze.
After visiting 2 other local optometrists, I was finally able to talk to someone who told me that Dr. Frank must have used a hot bead heater without removing the lenses.
The lenses were destroyed beyond repair, and cost me $325 dollars to replace and will take 3 weeks to be delivered. Until then, I have to wear an older pair with a much lower prescription.
Again, Dr. Frank was very nice, but this was a careless mistake doing a common procedure. I would wary of his abilities in anything else.

As for his staff I can't say enough, they stayed late to make sure my contacts were comfortable and didn't bother my eyes. Absolutely outstanding service.

Doc has always been thorough and attentive to my family's eye health. Appointments are easy to get, fast and painless. You leave being able to see in the light unlike many places that dilate your eyes and you get sunglassed for a day.
