I went to the Broomall office by mistake last week instead of the Media office. I was about 45 minutes late getting to the Media office and even though it was close to closing time, Dr Mekel waited for me and did a very thorough job of examining my eyes and explaining everything he was doing. I can't express enough how grateful I was to him and his staff for accommodating me by staying late. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I will recommend Dr. Merkel to all my friends.

I met Dr. Mekel in January 2026 for the first time. I have been to see Dr. Jahnle a few years before, but broke my frames and had to work on getting new ones immediately. I found him to be pleasant, thorough and detailed in what he was doing. Surprise, I have cataracts which was no surprise, but he explained everything. His assistant was also great.
When it was time to look for frames, the girl looked at my old pair and knew exactly what I was looking for and was very patient with me even though I kept changing colors.
The entire staff are so friendly and helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
