I went to Dr. Michael Negrey for 3 or 4 years. He performed a pseudo trabeculectomy meaning l was seated upright and not under anesthesia. A true trabeculectomy is done under anesthetic. The day after the procedure, I awakened with a huge sty in the operative eye. I called his office and explained my problem and was told the doctor's next opening was in 19 days. Ultimately, I went to urgent care. As a result, l have lost 60% vision in my right eye. If you value your eyesight, choose someone other than Michael Negrey. The second Opthalmologist was appalled at the ineffective Trabeculectomy.
